Can anyone tell me what the hours are like in the traditional program (27 months)? I am starting now in August and want to have an idea how many days a week I will be going to school and for how long. Can anyone let me know what their schedule was like. Thank you!

I didn't get into Baptist. I thought I did pretty good in the interview but oh well. I'm just very exited to start, it doesn't matter if in Baptist or Nova...after all, things happen for a reason. Has anyone received their acceptance or rejection letters yet?

WOW...all these preparations are overwhelming, especially for all of us that work! I have to go back and forth to the Doctor next week for all of the TB exams, lab results for titers, and possible vaccines. Does anyone know what the school's insurance covers? I have insurance through my job, but when I leave I'm going to loose it and I'm planning on getting the school's, but I want to make sure it can cover emergencies / hospital / doctor visits...(???)

I called and confirmed w/ Baptist, the decisions will take a little longer about 2-3 extra weeks ...I'm just so tired of waiting. I'm going to my doctor tomorrow for the physical and vaccines, YES you do need the forms for the Doctor to sing and stamp. See the link below (right hand side, under Orientation Forms).

Guys, I just heard from someone that also applied to the Scholars Program at Baptist, that Nova extended their application deadline for Baptist, so Baptist is still interviewing more people, and from what I was told they will not let us know in two week, it will be a longer wait because now they have more candidates . This is just what I was told, has anyone heard anything similar?

caringforyou: I think each e-mail is specifically for the person because my log in info for the background check had all my private info attached. I think you should request it directly from the school.

Yes, there are several forms that need to be filled out and taken to orientation, there is also a link to do your background check. Maybe they are sending e-mails one at a time, because each person has a different log in (pin) for this...I think, but I'm not sure.

About the background check, they provide you with a link to a website where you log in and do it through that site (the log in info is also given to you in the same e-mail). This was sent to my personal e-mail yesterday from the school. Maybe you should call and ask why you didn't get it.

OMG...I'm more nervous now that you said that, btw I received an e-mail yesterday with the orientation information. Orientation is going to be on August 31st. We need to do the background check and vaccines / physical exam by then. We also need to get our parking decal, school id etc...I already did the background check and hopefully next week I can go by my primary physician for the rest. Did anyone else received that?

The lady in the room next to where I was interviewed told us that she was almost done with all of Barry's interviews and they were in about to mail the letters, but that for NOVA she was just getting started. She said we should know in about two weeks. They are going to mail us the results.

I went in for my interview this afternoon, I think I did good. I was a little nervous and my hands were shaking, but besides that I was able to answer all questions. Now it's time to sit and wait...Please post anything new!!!

I had my interview today. I was interviewed by 6 women, all very nice. I got stuck in one question, but was able to get out of it... it was so embarrassing. When I went to open the door my hands were shaking...lol. After that I was able to relax and answer all questions. LET'S STAY POSITIVE.

I hope we both get in...it's funny because I was so anxious to know if I had been accepted into NOVA, and now it's happening again with Baptist. I'll let you know how it goes next week. Hi Guys, I was accepted to go to NOVA and I ALSO applied for Baptist. I was called in for an interview next week, and I'm so nervous. Can you tell me what questions they ask, as many as you remember. I want it to be next week already...I'm so anxious. Please share any advices...anything. Thanks in advance!!

Has anyone been contacted by Baptist yet?

I received the same letter from Baptist. I think we are in the same page at this moment. Hopefully we can get an interview for this or next week, not for 4th of July week. I think I'm going to be out of town.

Mudflap: If you type "NSU state aid application" in the search box in the NOVA's website you will find it. You need to print it and fill it out by hand if the web-site is not allowing you to do it. You need to submit all those missing docs in order for them to issue you an award letter. It gave me the same error when I tried to do it online, so I had to do it like that.

Good!! I filled out the FAFSA application, and NOVA sent me a letter with some info (several forms) that I need to fill out and turn in in order to continue with the process. I will be taking them to school next week along with copies of my 2008 taxes ect... after I submit all missing docs / forms they will mail me my award letter. That's what I was told by financial aid.

Well I guess in your case you will need financial aid / loans for books, insurance, living, ect... in my case I will getting the loan for tuition only, that is why the money goes back if you don't use it...I mean in the case of getting Baptist's scholarship.

I'm waiting too! Has anyone applied for financial aid / loans just in case? I did, they said that if we get Baptist all the financial aid / loan money will go back.
