Hi michelle8888, Thanks for the information :) Yes, I can imagine that the program will be intense, kinda scared and nervous about that...but I guess if you don't have a social life for 18 months then it's do-able :) I wasn't aware that the Sept.2009 intake has changed and yes, it would definitely be nice if the course load is a bit lighter. Once again, thanks so much for the information...and just out of curiosity, which semester are you in? or are you already done the program? Hey Lazz1, Yes, there are sooo many text books, it's crazy! I doubt we will need them all, but did you recieve an email about the text books being like on a chip/disk or something that you can upload to your computer??? Or did I misinterpret this email? I think the reason for this is so that we won't have to carry the books around with us...hmmm

Hey lazz1, I guess that's not bad for clinical hours at UBC...from what I was hearing from people, I though it would be way less than that...hmmm, that's good to know and yes, how in the world will we do those many hours in 2 years...lol, we'll have to wait and see :) Also, have you heard anything else about the program? how are the instructors? classes? anything else? I don't know, I'm just really nervous :S

Hi VanLpn, Thanks so much for the information. I actually applied to UBC for the accelerated BSN program, went through the interview and have now been accepted for September 2009. I am a bit nervous and I've heard just about the same stuff from others, that you have told me as well. Although it is a great opportunity to studying nursing at UBC, I am quite confused. I guess I have some time before I decide! Thanks for the info and best of luck to you!

Hi Ladies, I have my interview on the 28th...last name explains the dates :) So I guess there are 6 mini interviews and no essay or anything else? I'm really nervous, not quite sure what to expect!

Hi simplicitygirl, Thanks for the website, it definately gave some detailed information. Just another couple question if you don't mind...were the series of interview questions almost similar, like the scenerio questions? were the interviewers intimidating at all? is there an essay to write at the end? is it necessary to dress up like how you would dress for a job interview? Hi uncage_me, So, my gpa isn't all that great, like average, but I do have quite a bit of volunteer work/experience. But like I said, my gpa isn't very high, so I'm not sure how they would conclude the application for acceptance.
