I agree this is a strange ? for a nurse or medical person to ask . Any medical personel knows where to get the answers . I will tell you . . . . don't partake of this medication in any form ..... it is NOT a recreational drug !!

Debbie , I understand where you are coming from too . It is uncalled for to be doing AB's ( VIP's or otherwise ) of any gestation on a PP floor . Call your local board to see where to start first . Good Luck Pattie

Vickie , I understand your not wanting to care for AB's . We use to cover for a nurse that didn't like to do them ( abs ) due to her religious beliefs . we all understood & if possible would trade with her . One time when it wasn't possible she cared for the girl & took very good care of her . I was so proud of her because I understood how difficult it was . The bible says judge not lest ye be judged ......... sometimes this is difficult , but we all have done things we are not proud of . I believe this is between that person & God . NO ONE else matters . Pattie

I find it kind of creepy that this board knows & tells everyone where we all are and what we are looking at . Why is this ? I'm fairly new to BB .

Working in the carolinas isn't much better . I worked at grandstand medical center in myrtle beach ......they are really hurting for nurses . When I went down when they were offering a 5000.00 bonus and a relocation fee , now , I believe it is 10,000.00 bonus . But the staffing was critical & very unsafe ( worse than here ) . As for the hr pay here ...the new nurse are making around 17/hr and I have 14 yrs exp and only making 20/hr. WOW ! 3.00 whole dollars for 14 yrs exp . !!!! Makes ya want to keep on working , doesn't it ? LOL !!They wonder why there is a nursing shortage ????? The old nurses are quiting !!
