HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
Nursedandy, I'm happy to inform you that I got my renewal visascreen certificate last May 20, 2009. Saipan is just slow but they'll get it done. Anyways, my reinstated Saipan RN license though is renewable in 1 year. They issued me a 2 year then I got an email from them that they made a mistake so they issued me a new one, which expires after a year, so I need to renew it again next year? My initial RN license way back in September 2002 had a 2-year validity. Any ideas? I emailed to question them but they did not answer back.

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
Maybe so, the exact number i got from a website was (670)234-8950 through 8954 but no extension was mentioned. So, I will try again this time and ask for the extension you gave. Thanks nursedandy.

Anybody heard of Alda Staffing or Global Nursing Solutions?
Just be aware that as Suzanne was saying there are no visas available now. May 2009 visa bulletin shows unavailabe visas for employment based 3rd category. It was March 1, 2003 in April visa bulletin. This is for both consular processing ( applicants still in their home country) and for adjustment applicants ( already in the US). It is very very slow. It's going one step forward, four steps backward. You are looking at 5 or more so years. In the meantime, get some more nursing experience. Good luck to all.

NEED HELP!verification of license in PRC
I did not know of the requirements beforehand but I sent my brother a copy of my expired license. If her license is expired, PRC might require her to reinstate so I did just that. So, tell you mom's friend to send pictures, too (passport size)for the reinstatement plus the authorization letter that you will transact it for her.

Hi nursedandy, Any news re: Saipan BON? Are they back in full operation? Thanks.

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
I read the Saipan Tribune with the link you provided. I hope they will be back in full operation as stated on this second week of April as I am still waiting to get my licensed reinstated and verified for the VSC. I know hundreds are, too. I hope part of their plan in the near future is computerization. Thanks nursedandy, keep us posted.

NEED HELP!verification of license in PRC
I came here on a working visa (H1C) way back March 2003. I filed my application for adjustment of status for permanent residence together with my husband on December 2004 but with the backlog, we are still waiting for our green cards. And actually, with the April 2009 visa bulletin, the visa numbers again retrogressed for the Philippines ( and other countries)--it is now March 1, 2003. It was May 1, 2005 in the March 2009 visa bulletin. What is you visa, a. nurse.soon?

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
Well, I'm glad you're done with it, dot_040783. I'll just wait for CBONE to process my request for the VSC, hope it will be done soon. Anyways, I am currently licensed here in Texas but I am planning to apply for a license in New Jersey to be near my family. Does Saipan BON charge the same fee for a verification of license for endorsement and for the visascreen, which is $40?... I want to make sure I send in the appropriate fees which is soon. Thanks.

NEED HELP!verification of license in PRC
I just had my license verified by PRC in Manila for the visascreen certificate last month. I sent the verification form to my brother ( as I am here in Texas as well) with authorization letter for him to transact it for me. It took about two weeks. He went back to PRC when it was ready to be mailed as they have courier/ DHL inside the PRC campus and paid like P1,500. Three to four days later, I got an email from CGFNS that they have received the document.

[color=#323232]that's a little more than a month which is still not bad for cgfns to receive the form from cbone. i hope mine will be done soon too. i sent $70 for the reinstatement with 60 ceus ( notarized) and $40 for the verification for the vsc. saipan bon received it just two weeks ago. waiting is just the hardest sometimes. btw, did you use the email address that is in their website? just in case i have to contact them. thanks.

originally posted by dot_040783 that's good that you got your license verified. is this for the vsc? how long ago did you apply for the service and how long did it take? they just received my request for reinstatement of license and verification for the vsc last march 13th.

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
A US money order/ check would be your safest bet, as you would be able to track it online or by a toll -free number. I sent my reinstatement and verification ( for the VSC)requests altogether with appropriate fees, they got it last March 13th as per online tracking of my certified mail. I don't see anything wrong with sending them altogether.

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
Re CEUS, Saipan BNE's ( see http://www.NMICBNE.com) checklists for renewal or reinstatement doesn't indicate any specific provider so it's probably safe to say that they accept any CEUS from any state at this point. I can say probably that the Saipan BNE haven't applied for accreditation concerning regulation of their CEUS yet since accreditation is a voluntary process. Hope this might help. .

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
To add, the documents/ forms in the Saipan BON website which were relevant to my needs at least are Doc 18,45,30 ( but 60 CEUS for reinstatement according to Doc/ checklist 45) and doc 31.

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
Thanks so much guys ( tobby_walter & popotski)! it's gonna save me time and money knowing all these. I will prepare the CEUs notarized with renewal form , $70 for reinstatement of license, and $40 for the verification which I already got yesterday from HEB here in Texas. Yes, I am here in Texas and need the VSC as a requirement for my adjustment of status for permanent residence. But you know what, I just discovered something! When you go to their website NMICBNE.com ( which looks like a work in progress that when you try to email them it doesn't go through, right popotski), there are list of documents/ forms/ checklists there that would tell you how :). And according to their reinstatement checklist--i would need 60 CEUS ( that's a lot, huh) and not 30. Texas only requires us 20 ceus I think. I don't know if I have enough but I could surely get them online. Even the fees are there on the forms if you download them. I just can't find the $40 for validation/verification of license but based on your experiences, that's the amount. I hope these additional info will help other nurses getting their license verified for the VSC. I'll keep everybody posted. Thanks again.

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
the fee is payable to "CNMI treasurer". If you have someone to transact on your behalf with the authorization letter coming from you duly notarize by an attorney, it will help to speed up your license verification. To add also since you haven't renew your license, you have to apply for the reinstatement of your license with a fee of $70. thanks, tobby_walter for your reply! ok, so payable to CNMI treasurer. So, does the Saipan BON really require your license reinstated??...before you could get it verified by them for the VSC? So that means, I still have to submit 30 contact hours/CEUS and have it notarized? Please enlighten me on this. I thought your license being inactive or expired is well okay, as long as it's not revoked/ suspended. I just got $40 money order for the license verification. I'm glad I did not send it yet. So, I have to add $70 then. Hoping to hear from you again. Gracias.

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
Popotski, I'm happy for you that you got your license verified by Saipan BON already. Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks to all those who have responded to this thread. I was licensed by the Saipan BON in Sept 2002 when I took my NCLEX there but am now inactive since I did not renew my license. Now, I am in the process of getting my license verified by Saipan BON for the renewal of my visascreen certificate. I sent ( thru certified mail) my request last Feb. 12, 2009 to their P.O. box address and they received it last Feb. 24 but I did not send any corresponding fees ( totally clueless until today that I joined allnurses). And I have been calling them like everyday at different times since last week(8-5 in Saipan) and left messages since nobody answers their phone. So now I am gonna send another request with the fee. Now, my question is, for the $40 fee, to whom shall it be payable to? And how long did it take for you to get your license verified? A month? Hoping to hear from all you guys!!! Thanks!

HELP: licensed in saipan, need verification for visa screen
Hi, thank you for the info re: the fee of $40 and not $70 for verification of license in Saipan. In relation to this, to whom shall the money order be payable to? Is it CNMI Treasurer? It is quite frustrating to know that nurses who gets their license verified by Saipan BON are experiencing these very slow process. I am renewing my visascreen and it is only the Saipan BON that CGFNS/ICHP is waiting for. It worries me coz nobody answers their phone...and their website is work in progress. Please help!
