I GOT IN!!!
Congrats! I just found out I got accepted to my LPN program for the fall too. I'm so excited and happy the wait to find out is over!

I can sure use some HELPPPPPP!!!
What you're doing already sounds like a great start. I memorized my homemade flash cards. If you are studying the bones, which is sounds like you are, I would find a diagram of the human skeleton and memorize where each one you need is. I also used the anatomy coloring book which helped a lot. If your textbook has a cd rom or a website, that can be helpful too. Good luck!

TEAS scores; do I have a shot?
If you are unsure, contact your nursing advisor and ask if they believe your score is good enough. That's what I did.

Teas Practice Test
I took the Teas and practice test recently. Remember that there are more questions on the actual test than the practice, so scores can be different. The format of the practice test is almost exact to the actual test if you take a computerized test. From my experience, the questions on the practice test seemed a little tougher than the actual test. If you have time, buy the ATI study guide book if you haven't already. It really helped prepare me for the TEAS. I bought the practice test as a second study reference. Be sure to watch your time on the math section of the TEAS, I almost ran out of time. Other sections seem to give you enough time to finish. Good luck!

Question about the TEAS
I took the Teas in February. I recommend buying the $30.00 ATI online assessment test. The format is the same as on the actual test, if your test is computerized. Some of the science questions required you to decide what the outcome would be, for example, an experiment steps 1 through 4 would be given and you would have to find what the best answer would be for step 5. I didn't have any in-depth questions about ATP, but there were questions about the periodic table and elements. Most questions were general, but I could see where one could get confused if they thought too deep about the answers. Just review the ATI study guides and online test, and it should give you a good idea what the test will be like. Good Luck!!

teas nursing pre-entrance exam
I took my teas test last month. It wasn't too bad, but it is long, so try not to get stressed out while taking it. I studied with the ATI testing practice book and would also recommend the ATI online practice test. It really helped me understand the wording of what was on the test, especially the english/grammar section. The science section on the test seemed easier than what was in the practice book, but every test has different questions. Look over the chemisty elements table, and protons, neutrons, electrons. I had a temperature question on my test where I had to convert C to F. It's easy enough if you know the conversion, but that wasn't in any practice book I had. Also, make sure you keep track of how much time is left while doing the math section. I almost ran out of time. The test gives you about a minute for each math question and I think there were 55 questions. Study, study, study and you'll do great!

Help me please,!!! Anatomy I is killing me...!!
I am a very visual learner too. I passed both ANP 1 and 2 with A's and what got me through was making flash cards for everything. For example, covalent bonds, I put the definition with an example and covalent bond on the other side. I did this for everything that was covered in our lectures and memorized all my flashcards. I also used the cd rom/website that came with my anatomy book. This helps if your book has one. Keep trying, you'll soon get the hang of things!
