I don't know much about Gateway, but BHSN is fantastic. You see patients the first week of school. Good luck with your decision.

Lecture is Tuesday. Lab is Thursday and clinical is Friday You can do those in the evening program, but day and evening students must attend lecture.

My TEAS score was 86. I am attending now. Day Program is 8:30 to 3:30 on Tuesday and then you have lab for 2-3 hours one day and clinical at the hospital for 2-3 hours another day. The uniform is white pants and marroon top (Scrubs). When you submit your application make sure everything is in because it will delay the response if you don't. Buy the TEAS practice book at ATI testing.

Bridgeport is accepted applications now, but you will not hear until January for September 2010. I am attending now. Get your application in early! It is online. Apply there and also the community colleges because I know people who finished all prereqs and did not get in. Both the community colleges and BHSN received over 600 applicants so it is very competitive.

I am starting at Bridgeport in the Fall also day student, how about you?

I would call and try to make an appt. at BHSN. That always seems to help. They then know you are really interested.

Don't give up on your dreams. Improve your Teas and apply to other schools. You will get in.

You still might hear. I know a few people still waiting that applied in January. Look in to Cochran School of Nursing in Yonkers, NY. Might be far but they do have Fall/Spring admissions and are accepting applications. They are on the web. Good luck

I know alot of people still waiting to hear from BHSN. Some I know have been rejected and others on the waiting list. So no news is good news. Make sure they have everything. My friend did not hear and they were still waiting on a transcript.

I heard 4pm start to 10 or 11pm But part time nights is only available the first semester. In May you need to switch to days.

Norwalk is not letting people know until end of April/May. I received my letter from Bridgeport March 11 and was accepted. See you all in September. My TEAS was 86 and I have all prereqs done. Good luck to all of you.

When I called mid February they told me 4-6 weeks and it was 4 weeks. Have patience. It will come.
