  1. Hello Long story short I am selling my Prodigy Subscription if anyone here wants to buy it. It is good until August 2019. It is a very highly rated board prep software that cost over $400 brand new. If you're interested in buying PM me and we can set up a price and exchange process. Cheers!
  2. Long story short.. I was also accepted! For anyone who is accepted: Private message me with your name and email, and I will add you to a Facebook group I created. For anyone that didn't get in: Keep your chin up, and private message me for tips on improving your application!
  3. Got an interview invitation! Stats: 3.97 GPA, CCRN, Preceptor/Charge, GRE 323 Good luck everyone
  4. Honestly I don't know what they are looking for. I'm thinking it might be a little bit random or luck. Or maybe I have some gap in my application that I can't think of. I also applied to Samuel Merritt so keeping my fingers crossed there.
  5. I also received that email stating that I was not chosen. What a bummer :/ Did you apply elsewhere Sara?
  6. Good job guys! Let's keep the good news going. Hope to get an email soon.
  7. Good stats people! Now we just need to knock out the interview. Me: 6 years of nursing, 4 of which is neuroscience and trauma ICU in a level 2 3.98 GPA CCRN Charge and Preceptor Unit Council Volunteering at high schools
  8. Hey all Pre-SRNAs Anyone apply to Samuel Merritt University's CRNA Program? Lets use this thread to keep each other updated and help with interviews.
  9. No email yet. Will keep posting here.
  10. Hello all Pre-SRNA's! Who here is applying to Kaiser's School of Anesthesia, starting in 2016? We should keep in touch and share any interview tips, and keep each other up to date on requirements. Hope to meet you all soon, and hope we all get in! :)
  11. Ok it just changed to the "Call Member Board" message. I guess that means im good?!?! =)
  12. Please help! Just took the NCLEX at 1:00 PM. Was done around 2:45 PM. Came home after 1 hour, status says "Delivery Successful", tried the pearson vue trick, got "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be opened at this time. " pop up. I know this isnt the usual "Contact board" popup people get. Anyone get this message and FAIL or PASS? Feel like crap!
  13. Hi fellow AllNursing fans! I plan to take the nclex in January. Before I buy the Kaplan study course, I wanted to know if I would be able to be logged into the Kaplan system in two different computers at once. Has anyone tried? The reason I ask is because my computer boots VERY slow at home, and I'd rather keep it up and running while I log in from work and use it. Any help is appreciated.
  14. So to clarify, you did Kaplan Qbank and Q trainer, read the Kaplan Strategy Review book(?), and did questions only from Saunders? Or did you read Saunders as well? Thanks.
  15. Thanks for the responses. This is sort of what I have been hearing, that the classroom portion is not so great. So if I get the question bank and question trainer of Kaplan, the book of Kaplan that teaches strategy, and do content review from Saunders, I should be covered? Are the Kaplan videos at all worth paying for?
  16. Moosey: Thanks for the reply. The book under the link I posted is actually a book that teaches Kaplan's strategies to answer questions. "Decision tree", Maslows, ABCs, etc. I agree that I may need a good question source to practice questions. Kaplan's has a Question Bank that I can buy a subscription for online for about $300. I will purchase that to supplement Saunders and the Kaplan book. For all of those that took Kaplans course (class or online), do you feel that the Q-bank was the main attraction of that course?
  17. Hello All: Since the Kaplan course is too expensive for me, I designed my own studying plan. To those who have recently passed or studying, I need feedback! I plan on buying this book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1419552570/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=1591391342&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0ZRJNJR6WH8SPHTX9DA9 Learning the strategies from it. And then reviewing content using Saunders Comprehensive Review for NCLEX (4th Edition) Big blue book. Any suggestions on that? Anyone try that? Think it will work? THANKS! =)
  18. Your philosophy of learning is interesting, but definitely makes sense. It is unconventional, but you may have really influenced how I will study in December. Do you have any resources (online or software) that you could guide me to (such as the ATI software you used)? I wouldn't mind paying shipping or other fees to get them. Thanks!
  19. congrats, and thanks for the tips! i'd like to talk to you a bit more about your studying process, in particular, whether or not you took kaplans. thanks so much, and congrats again! mod note, please do not post email addresses as per terms of service
