  1. I am in my last semester of the ADN program. Any advice on how to get through it?? I am sooooo close, but feeling discouraged!
  2. #1 You have job requirements just like everyone else- fullfil them. No, your powerpoints can't be up after class- isn't that how you told your boss you were going to teach us? No, you can't return case studies after the test, isn't that how you told your boss you were going to prepare us for the test? We all have a hard life, put your big girl panties on and deal with it. And, if this is your first year teaching- we don't care, this is our first year of going to nursing school, and we still have requirements to fulfill. #2 Refer back to number one. #3 To all of you awesome teachers who teach and are prepared for class, THANK YOU:bowingpur
  3. This is funny that I ran across this today. I have had a major headache for the past 24 hours- ever since I had to give an 18mo old 2 shots, one in each leg yesterday. I don't know how to make it easier- I just had to tell myself that the medicine was going to make the baby better. But, I am still suffering from the stress of doing this yesterday:cry:
  4. I am graduating in May, and considering starting out in LTC nursing. Do you think a graduate nurse should spend time on a Med/Surg floor first, or can gain good experience in the LTC setting too? for your thoughts.....
  5. You can do it!! Would you like to go to school where I do- you can only flunk once- the second time you can never graduate as an RN from this school!!
