What do you remember from the anatomy and physiology questions?

Once you have been put on the waiting list you are usually guaranteed a spot in the nursing program. The downfall with a waiting list is that it usually takes a few years to get in... I was put on the waiting list in December of 2009 and got a letter saying I was guaranteed entry for the fall of 2012. It also said I was a "alternate" for the fall of 2011, but it doesn't look like I will be in until 2012. It may vary from school to school though.

I took the TEAS version 4 about a year ago and my scores weren't all that great. My cumulative was a 74% and I'm considering retaking it. I was at a community college and as long as your scores were above a 70% cumulative and a 62% on the reading you would get put on the waiting list. Since I have been put on the waiting list I have transferred to a university and finished all of my prerequisites for the BSN program. Admission is very competitive and I'm considering retaking the TEAS in hopes of getting a better score. They are offering the TEAS V and I'm not sure if I should retake because it sounds like it is a lot more difficult. I have a 3.9 GPA but standardized tests have never been one of my strong points. What should I do?!

I am currently working on my letter of intent for Madonna Universities nursing program. The guidelines for the letter are: "The letter should be written in the first person, typed, double-spaced and not exceed two pages. It should include a plan for completing any remaining pre-requisites to the program and address the choice of nursing as a career and why the student chose to apply to Madonna University's program. Students may consider adding personal goals, any additional qualifications that may be relevant and any applicable community service experience." I've never had to write anything like this before and I'm not really sure what to focus the letter on. There is so much to discuss in only two pages... I feel like they get a lot of stories in these letters and they must be pretty repetitive. What are some good ways to make a letter stand out from the rest? Any advice on what I should include in my letter would be appreciated.
