Can anyone help me find a job? :[
i looked up all the hospitals around my area, and even central carolina and cape fear is like 40 min away. other hospitals other than those 2 are more than hour and 30 min away... so yeah.. that's like too much gas money..

Are you proud to be a CNA?

-
Are you proud to be a CNA?
Yeah, I'm going to try to go to FTCC. I called them and they said I needed to register by Jan 30. But.. hmm. yeah I don't know why those english-speaking only people passing math, and not reading.. o_O

Are you proud to be a CNA?
It matters because I have to take this HOBET test to get in nursing program. I need atleast 60 on reading and math, but first time I took it, I got 52 on reading and like 92 on math... Yeah I'm really good at math, but.. 2nd time I took it.. Which I took 6 months later because of the school rule, I got 58 on reading and 98 on math... Eh.. Yeah i was close, but now I have to wait 3 years to take another HOBET test for that school. I know I can get in LPN program with my HOBET score, since I need 50 on reading and math, but I really rather try to go to RN program first... There's this school in my area that doesn't require HOBET testing, but I heard that school's nursing program isn't that good... But anyways.. yeah.. English being my 2nd language did keep me out of nursing program..

Are you proud to be a CNA?
I feel good to be a CNA knowing that I did something and that I can work in hospitals and its a better job than a sales associate to me.. But.. I really hate just being a CNA when I can't get in Nursing because of my Reading problem, since English is my second language..

Should I start off as CNA or Medical Assitant.. need advice!
i say cna, because in my school, you need to be a cna first before you apply to be rn, or lpn. and.. if you are looking for a job, i think course that ends faster is going to give you more money faster...

Patient Care Technician?
Just what is Patient Care Tech? I'm currently a CNA1. I'm going to start my cna 2 class and phlebotomy this fall.. does this make me a patient care tech? or do I need EKG class too? And... Do Patient Care Tech make more money than CNAs?

I want to get certified as a cna
i just registered for cna 2 class on 4th.. the registration for medical calss was the 4th. i think all cna 1 spot was filled on cccc, well.. lee county. but you could call and check. there was long line for registering for classes.. and it was first come first serve. i went an hour earlier than registering time, but i was the 46th person on the list.. apparently, when my number got called.. that 40 some ppl before me all signed up for cna 1 classes.. but cna 1 this time was $181.25 and about 3-4 months long its not that bad.. i took it with cccc for cna 1 class too i know there's one again in spring so you should check it out too. cna classes fill up quickly i think..
