Why is this even a topic? It has nothing to do with the field of nursing. Nothing. Do you feel a need to sic on your husband nurses from all over the U.S. (and in other parts of the world) to show him how silly he's being? If you're going to post here, please make it relevant to our profession. Go complain to your friends and family about your husband's viewpoint.

Don't try to stick with a job where you already have huge reservations. Go with the job you know you'd love, and your professional history backs that up. Do what you *know* you'll be happy doing. You can tell the dialysis hiring manager what you've already experienced with the rehab job. S/He will understand.

Mispronounce: Phenergan. I hear it mispronounced as Phenergran. It really irks me that college educated nurses can't pronounce it correctly.
