  1. Hey guys, what type of visa did you apply for before doing the BP? Student, 456, or tourist? And why did you choose that over the other types?
  2. Are sponsorhips available in Australia like that of NZ? I've heard that in NZ you can apply for sponsorship to shoulder a portion of your BP tuition. Is there such thing in Australia?
  3. Hey there! I've read somewhere in this thread that the show money amounts to 1M. Is this true for the others? I don't know where I can get that huge amount of money.
  4. I'm not applying for a bp yet. I'm referring to the assessment and application fees of AHPRA. Maybe debit card is ok as long as it is affiliated to mastercard or visa, I hope... By the way, how much did you guys pay during your application to AHPRA? Do different provinces charge different registration fees?
  5. Hi! Has anyone of you tried paying the assessment and application fees through debit card? I am planning to get a debit card, specifically from unionbank so I can pay these fees conveniently.
  6. Thanks for sharing your situation! Right now I'm considering other options. I doubt I can save enough money from that program. Anyway, good luck on your plans! I'm sure you'll make it.
  7. Hi! Part B is done in Australia, right? Are you going on a tourist visa while you do Part B, then come back to the Philippines to wait for the results? Will you look for an employer only after you've passed and met all registration requirements or can you do it before the test? I'm thinking about registering with QNC but I'm afraid I won't get a job there because of my inexperience...
  8. So is it still possible to register with SRNA without experience?
  9. You have a piont babyjr. But is work experience a requirement for SRNA? I noticed in their forms there is a section about RN Employment History. But there is no column for the present year 2009. I had my volunteer work starting December 2008 until present. Should I leave it blank?
  10. I see. I appreciate your posts. They have been very helpful.
  11. That website was helpful. Thanks Silverdragon! I better be ready with some thick clothing if I decide to work in Saskatchewan. :nuke:
  12. I checked their website and it says English test scores are valid for two years. Good news for me because I have more time to get my hospital experience.
  13. I already passed IELTS last July 2008. Do you know if SRNA also requires our IELTS scores to be not more than 1 year old at the time of registration? I know for a fact that CRNBC implements this policy. I wonder if SRNA has a similar rule.
  14. I see. I also downloaded their application forms but I'm still gathering more info. Now I'm leaning towards Saskatchewan. I'm just waiting for my volunteer work to formally end so I can process my documents full time. I wish you both luck!
