Hey anyone know of a cheaper route to get the first year books? I'm Starting TWU Dallas program in the fall and what they were talking about for costs on books today at orientation was awful

Me too, it is so frustrating! I will def ask about the assessment tomorrow and hope they do have it. I know I am a visual learner, but there is so much more to this that is hard to put a picture to everything. I just got accepted into the Dallas nursing program and I am taking my patho before I even got in to get it over with and I don't want to start off with my first actual nursing class with a C! I know I can do it, just trying to fit all of this info in is difficult ya know?

Mi Vida and Silverbells, Thanks for the tips. ...I do go to every lecture but I am one of those people who never test too well. Second guess too much I think. I am going to the learning center tomorrow and hope there is a Patho tutor available!Thanks for the support tho and helpful ideas!

ANYONE who has done well in Patho....Please tell me how you did it. Any study tips or tricks that you could share would really help. I know this may sound stupid to some of you who maybe did well in this, but it is just NOT sticking in my brain and I have to do well on my last 2 tests.

Hi , I am in Patho now and have passed the drop date, so am really under the gun to do well with my last 2 tests. Anyone know of any good tutors that aren't just the ones at the student center at TWU/Denton, TX ?? My study partner and I really need some help. Or anyone who has taken this class who can suggest ANYTHING that can help us remember all of this more easily....there has to be some tricks to keep this in my brain! Any suggestions will be really appreciated!

Did anyone hear that anybody got a rejection letter yet? I applied to TWU Dallas and Houston although I really want the Dallas program. I heard there were 1100 applicants this time which is almost double the last applicationn period and I am scared to death cause I didn't get an acceptance letter yesterday like my friend.

Does anyone know of any other nursing school besides TWU that has the same pre reqs of TWU nursing. Everything I have checked requires 2 yrs of Spanish or different math classes or a religion or something. I would have to take another semester of stuff just to apply to another school?? Help! All these pre req classes for nursing should be standardiZed!
