  1. Hey GaMommy81! I just got my acceptance letter to GBCN this weekend, and I'm almost positive I'm going to go there. The best source of information I got on what emphasis they place on NET, GPA, and essay came from attending one of their information sessions. I think there is another information session coming up in March. Hope this is helpful and if you have any more questions, let me know!
  2. I have taken both the NET and the TEAS in the past 3 months. The NET was easier in some ways and more difficult in others. The math on the NET was easier, but the reading section was reasonably difficult. On the TEAS, the math required a lot more specific information like knowing conversions(quarts, meters, etc...). The tests are definitely comparable. If you are prepared for one, you are most likely prepared for the other. The best piece of advice I can give is to go online and find a middle school math website that has practice questions. That's all I did and I did well on both. Oh and also take a stop watch to the tests... keeping track of time is very important. In regards to study guides, I didn't get a study for the TEAS so I can't recommend one. I hope this helps!
  3. Hey everyone, I sent in my application for Mercer U(in Georgia) about 6 weeks ago and I'm a nervous wreck waiting to hear back from them. Has anyone heard from them yet or know how long the wait usually is? Or is there anyone else who is applying? I'm applying to Mercer, GA State, and Kennesaw State, and I'd love to hear from anyone who is applying to, attends, or has gotten into any of these schools. Thanks!
