I have adhd and currently take Equasym XL 20 mg. BD. they work very well releasing 8 mg immedeatly then the rest slowly fro next 6-8 hrs...if I am pulling a 13hr shift i just take another one at lunch..they work almost immedeatly no need for them to build up in your system for weeks first. I struggled through my ADNS but passed eventually, also got assessesd for dyslexia as there are some links between ADHD and dyslexia, the result was positive and I managed to get accademic support for my essays, extra time in exams, and a PC to use for my answeres. Ignore what others say about you being distracted...the ADNS curriculum IS VERY boring to people without ADHD just push through, you can do it Good luck.. JP (RNA)
