After my 3rd time!!!
no i didnt use suzannes plan.. i didnt find it when I was lurking these forums.. i wish I would have!! this last time... i concentragted only on the NCLEX.. i quit my Clinical tech job and lived off of some savings I had. I did about 200 - 400 questions a day.. took frequent breaks and lived life normally. I took my questions during the day I knew my nclex was going to be.. i ate a good dinner and a good breakfast the day of my test.. and honestly, i didnt stress out as much as i did the other 2 times.. i just went in there with the attitude that I would do whatever it took to become a nurse.. even if it meant I had to take the NCLEX 20 times! .. i think losing the anxiety was what really got me through this time.. because I knew that I knew the material.. I jsut wasn't confident in it.. good luck! and everyone thanks for the kind words!!

3 males out of a class of 30, anyone else feel overpowered?
hey guys, I was 1 out of 28 students in my class.. and only 1 of 14 who actually made it through the program... I had fun with these girls and now all are like my sisters.. but if i was single in nursing school I think i would have had more fun. lol I occasionally got teased, but all was for fun and usually a good laugh.. i say jsut roll with the punches and get through school.. the other students are not why you are there! And good luck with nursing school and the NCLEX.. definitely the hardest thing I EVER had to do in my life was nursing school and taking the NCLEX.

After my 3rd time!!!
I have just joined this forum, but have been a long time lurker (especially when I didn't pass the NCLEX the first time). Just wanted to say that if this forum didn't exist I might have just given up. I read all the stories on here and that is what made me want to go on and take the test the 3rd time. Just wanted to say thank for all the inspiring stories. And to those who haven't passed the NCLEX yet... DON'T GIVE UP!! RJ

Looking for a Job
Hey guys, I graduated in March of this year and just passed my NCLEX on Oct 24th. I have been looking for a job for the past month now and getting very discouraged. I left my job as a Computer Analyst because I wanted to help people, and thought that nursing would be a more secure job. Does anyone know of any hospitals in Florida (preferably in Orlando or anywhere in South Florida) that is hiring new nurses? I have applied to every hospital in Orlando, west palm beach, delray beach, boca raton and Ft lauderdale. I would really appreciate it since I am in need of a job very badly. My savings is running REALLY low now and I am getting so desperate that I may just find another computer job or relocate to another state. Thanks RJ

Have you taked the NET?
When I took it I didn't really study for it.. But I was a math guy in high school.. but what I found surprising was the fractions on that test. Brush up on multiplying and dividing fractions.. That will definitely help. Those took me forever to remember how to do.. Luckily I did well the first time I passed.
