hey how long does it take lij or nsuh to call back for an interview???

Hi does anyone know how i can get an interview a NYHQ, its close to my house and i was originally gonna go to oncology but it was toooo deppressing for me i want to go to L&D or just Med surg does anyone here work there and how much is the night salary since thats when i'll probably have to work. THANKS!!!

Hi Nurse, I was always taught in nursing school that you NEVER let someone give the medications that means not letting medication stay at the bedside, and not even trusting a best friend whos a nurse to give your meds for you, the reason is if for ANY reason at all god forbid something happens to that patient and that nurse made the error your but is essentially on the line. Its better to be safe then sorry and loose your license for an extra minute, and besides its someones life your dealing with so check recheck and rererecheck your meds and most definetly give it yourselfv

Hi im a new grad and im expected to start working in a hospital in LI and I heared that the some nurses on the oncology unit had problems with getting pregnant have you heared of this since both of you are oncology nurses?

Love-Nursing I'm a graduating nurse you will see EXACTLY why they are so competitive because if you think Pre REQ'S are hard you will be in the shock of your life. You must remember the reason why any nursing program is so competitive is that your making life and death decisions. They judge you so critically because the workload you will incur is amazing sometimes i study for 9 hours a day for 6 days in a row, Some students do this and they still struggle that is why you should take that factor into consideration. Lastly it takes a certain type of a person to become a nurse and most nursing programs filtrate people who they think wont succeed out simply not to waste there time and the individuals time.

Thanks for the information, I'm interviewing at NSUH but they pay 62,000, I really wanted to go to NYHQ but there in a freeze right now, Its close to my home and i did my clinical rotation there i like the way they have all iv meds made up from the pharmacy, it makes life easy does anyone know where else there hiring NEW grads?? Wondering where i can start working on my permit and start making moneyyy :)
