if there is too much work then the mgt needs to look at staffing. Unfortunately mgt is never looking out for the nurses' best interest.

this is insulting. we know our duties and practice our profession well which includes handwashing, a basic nursing procedure. Handwashing aims to decrease the spread of microorganisms. We do this not only for our patients but also for our own protection. I wouldn't forget to do these for my own good as well. Those who have thought of this idea should be the first to wear it! :angryfire

No. Aside from the fact that I know that food is meant for patients, I am kind of grossed out by all of it.

There is already talk about med techs replacing RN's. i am not threatened by foreigners. i feel more threatened by our government and the power that they have to change our livlihoods in the blink of an eye with the poor decisions they make.
