  1. I have a couple of books, and very rarely let some of my little ones color if they are sick and waiting on a parent. Most of the time, I try to send them out to the main office to wait for the parent unless they have been throwing up, are running a fever, or need to lay down.
  2. Wow, it's so good to hear from other nurses with the same problems I face. My office is right behind the front desk, so privacy at a premium. I hear you and relate to everything you all have said from lunches, to teachers practicing medicine. What about teacher's kids? Is it just me, or are they the neediest kids in the school?
  3. I'm a SANE-A, and I am also an associate's degree nurse. All you have to do is take a 40 hr. course. ASN or BSN doesn't matter.
