No, the mg aren't part of your calculations. Only worry about the volume you're infusing.

I studied from all of the nursing entrance exams books at the library. Mostly the math. I was freaking out about it because its so hard to know what to study and what questions you will get but I did fine. I got an 88.2%. All of the accepted RN students that I took it with (30 including me) all passed. As long as you study you should be fine. Good luck!

Where are you attending: Merced College, Central California When does your program start: January 20th but we have "RN boost camp" the 12-15th. Next week! When are your orientation(s): We had orientation at the end of last semester. What is your 1st semester schedule: Monday, Tuesday - clinical, Wednesday, Thursday - Theory, Pharmacology online, and skills lab on Fridays. Our hours change from week to week. How are you preparing yourself and/or family: I am spending as much time with them as I can before I start. Will you be working fulltime/parttime/not at all: I am not working now but I would like a part time job on weekends to make some needed cash, although they "highly recommended" that we do not work during the program. I guess I will work as much as I can during the summer. I am so excited. I am also really nervous but I have a few nurses in the family (mom and aunt) to help me when I get stressed. I also have a cousin who is almost finished with the program up in WA. Congratulations everyone! I wish you all luck!

Wow! That's great, I will look into attending. I just got accepted into the RN program on Oct. 7th and I have orientation on Nov. 4th. I am very excited and I want all the info I can get. I really like this site, I just joined tonight.
