  1. The hardest thing about nursing school for me was writing those endless care plans. I would FREQUENTLY stay up until 2 or 3 AM writing them and then report to clinical at 7. I am not a morning person at all and never completely adjusted. That is why I work nights now. I once went to clinical with only part of my care plan done and when the instructor started fussing about it, I burst into tears in the middle of the nursing station. She apologized for upsetting me. I simply asked her how much more work I should have done considering I stayed up until 3 AM. She didn't have an answer. It is funny looking back on it now, but at the time it nearly drove me crazy. Anatomy and physiology wasn't exactly easy either, but I managed to pull good grades in them. Just do your best, try to stay positive, and yes, give up some of your activities with friends during the rough times and you will be fine I'm sure.
  2. I test ISFJ, but can be extroverted in certain circumstances, such as when dealing one on one with patients. I would imagine you would have to be more extroverted to be a CRNA, but I don't know for sure.
  3. We don't really get anything for Thanksgiving, other than time and one half and a free dinner the week before. I'm working at a new hospital now, so I don't know what to expect for the remainder of the holidays.
