Can someone help me answer this question? What is the difference between a graph that shows the effect of breathing rate on blood oxygen levels and a graph that shows the effect of blood oxygen levels on breathing rate? Explain what the independent and dependent variables are for each graph. I'm not sure what I have is right so I want to see what you guys think.

WOO HOO ! The semester is over!
I just finished anatomy. I finished with a mid B which I'm pretty disappointed in because I know I could of tried harder but hindsight's 20/20. Anyway I would suggest studying the tissues and bones because most likely your first exam will be one or both of them. One of the reasons why I didn't get an A in anatomy is because of my first exam. I wasn't used to looking at slides and I had a panic attack when I saw 50 microscopes lined up for our exam. I couldn't think clearly cause we only had about a minute to look at each microscope before going to the next. I ended up getting a 40% on that first exam and it destroyed my chances of getting an A. Basically, be extremely prepared for your first exam because it will set the tone for the class. These are the exams I took in order of most difficult(imo). 1. Nervous System Exam [i never want to hear the word ganglion ever again. ANS, CNS, Spinal Cord, Nervous Tissue, Brain and Cranial Nerves ugh] 2. Systems Exam [Ours was on Digestive, Respiratory, Urinary, Vessels, Blood, Heart, and Lympatic- The sheer volume of information killed me] 3. Cat Oral Exam [Word of advice: Spray your cat down thoroughly to prevent it from decomposing. Our cat was growing the black plague and it was nearly impossible to study for longer than 20 minutes without dry heaving] 4. Tissues Exam [Just rows and rows of microscopes] 5. Muscles Exam[some say it's hard but it came naturally to me because I've written tons of essays on muscles/fitness for a fitness website. Don't just blindly memorize the muscles, learn how they work together and what muscles are used for certain movements.] 6. Bones Exam [i basically had to live in the Lab to learn everything but it's easy once you get the hang of it]

What classes should i take next semester? Need help deciding!
Yea i really think it will hurt me more if i attempt to take too much and fail rather than wait a semester longer. i don't believe chem is a prereq to physio at our school. i haven't taken it yet obviously but my counselor didn't say another about it. im thinking of taking stat, physio and music 89. Then have the option of dropping music 89 depending how hard stat and physio is. im decent at math and i hear stat is fairly easy so im not too worried about that. i just pray that i get a good physio teacher.

Anyone else ever feel this way?
i feel the same way. i have two aunts in nursing, one a head nurse in maryland and another who works in orange. i am uneasy about the transition to nursing school but i figure when there's a will, there's a way and ill make it happen somehow.

What classes should i take next semester? Need help deciding!
i saw a counselor 2 weeks ago here is the schedule she put me on: Spring 09 Semester Physio1 Chem3A Stat Summer 09 Micro or Chem 3Bif offered during summer + Econ Retake Fall 09 Semester Micro/Chem 3B History APPLY TO CSULB HERE. i really don't know if i should try to tackle all these classes together or just take another year to space things out and make sure i get a good gpa. Another thing that has been bugging me is what i see on assist.org. i forgot to ask my counselor about this. They say i need these classes done as prereqs(which confuses me cause my counselor didn't mention this at all but i want to believe that she did not make a mistake in creating my schedule: Prerequisite General Education (GE) Courses: CSU GE Oral Communication - 3 semester units English 1 or 3 count for this? CSU GE Written Communication (College Composition) - 3 semester units i hope my speech 30 counts for this CSU GE Critical Thinking - 3 semester units i took the wrong philosophy? CSU GE Quantitative Reasoning - 3 semester units Statistics right?

To be honest, I am terrified of physio. There is only one professor listed by name teaching physio next semester and here is her rate my professor page. http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=375548 I think i am going to take one of the other 3 physio classes that doesn't have a teacher currently listed because they can't be much worse than what i hear of this lady. thanks ill need all the luck i can get

The classes i have taken so far with Grade/Credits. I don't know what classes to take for next semester. I plan on applying to nursing program CSULB Fall 09. I honestly don't know what to do at this because early on i didn't have direction and didn't take the right classes. Now im stuck with only difficult classes left to take for Spring 09, Summer 09, and Fall 09. What would you guys take if you had to spread these classes throughout these semesters? Thanks!!! Do you Work?? If so, where, what hours, and pay?
i work as a security guard in compton(haha). i get 12/hr and i pretty much have 6-7 out of the 8 hours to study by myself. i watch over an entire corrugator plant by myself so i just crank the tunes and whip out the books. i just have to patrol the plant every 2 hours(takes about 20-30 min cause its a long way around).
