  1. I am going through the exact same thing! I am having a really hard time getting motivated to study and feel like no one understands.
  2. I used the Exam Cram for my NCLEX PN and i passed using it. I thought it was a great source!
  3. Congrats! I know how it feels to fail also...i have failed twice:-( Thanks for the encouragement. I hope i can pass my 3rd time! What material did you study from?
  4. Congrats on passing! Also thanks for the advice! I am trying to study to take my NCLEX a 3rd time! I will check out those websites. :)
  5. Hello all. I haven't posted in a while. I took my last NCLEX RN in October and didn't pass:-( I am finally trying to start studying again, but don't really know where to begin. I want to try suzanne's plan but i don't have saunders 4th edition..i have 3rd edition. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks! :)
  6. What is the suzanne 4 study guide ppl keep talking about?
  7. Well i failed my NCLEX the second time...had all 265 questions. I am confused as to how to study to pass this test the 3rd time. I got my evaluation back from the BON and it said i was "Near the passing standard" on all categories! Why can't it be more specific. How am i supposed to study when all categories were near the passing standard...does that mean i was on the line the whole time and just didnt go above the line? I am confused right now and getting frustrated with trying to study for a 3rd time. I feel like a loser and failure for having to take it a 3rd time when all my friends passed on the first try. Plus my school has a good passing rate and is a great nursing school...i feel like i have let everyone down. Any advice? I want to try suzannes plan but i have to go buy a new book...i only have saunders 3rd edition. :(Stressed!!! Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks for all the support! I really love this site!
  8. I just took my exam...had 265 questions and failed. I only had 3 SATA...no math...and all multiple choice. I had alot of delegation, infection control, some meds...i dont remember what else....i answered alot of questions and it was horrible! I have never heard of a special tutor that knows how you did on nclex...that would be cool if it was way cheaper! Have you taken your nclex yet?
  9. For suzannes plan, i know it says we have to have 15 posts before we can pm her...does replys to other ppl's messages count as posts...or do we have to post new threads? Also would the saunders 3rd edition work for her plan or do you have to have the 4th edition? I am ready to get a new study plan because obviously i am not studying correctly..due to the fact that i just failed for a second time! Thanks guys! Love this site....it is great!
  10. Where did you test at? Does your state participate in quick results? Good luck! I tested the day after you 10/22/08, i should find out tomorrow if i passed with quick results....Let us know how you did! Good luck!
  11. I know i posted earlier this morning...but is there a high percentage of ppl that pass with 265 questions? I am getting worried and am scared to check my results tomorrow. I canNOT afford to retake this...i had to drive 2 1/2 hrs away from home, get a hotel, and spend money doing that....it was the closest testing center to where i live. After all the time and money i have spent i will be devestated if i fail...need words of hope and encouragement from other 265 question takers that have passed! Keep praying for me! PS- I only had 3 SATA...NO math...the rest were just multiple choice....is that a good sign?
  12. I took my NCLEX yesterday....265 questions! 5 hours! I hope i passed! I was not expecting to get up to 265...but i am trying to have hope that it is a good thing. at least it kept giving me questions...if i had failed it would have shut off earlier...the last time i took the NCLEX it had shut off at 114 and i had failed. Any advice? Is there a good chance i can pass with 265 questions??!! I keep praying that i passed...i stayed calm during the exam and didnt stress about it. I also didnt have a weird feeling of failure like i did the first time i took it....i hope these are good signs! Keep praying for a pass! I should be able to find out tomorrow with quick results!
  13. Thanks for all the advice and "good luck" messages everyone! I hope i can pass this time. Pray for me.
  14. Hey everyone, I am new to the site. I take my NCLEX on Oct 22nd...it will be my second attempt to pass. I am really nervous. I have studied from the Kaplan book and the Saunders 3rd Edition. I do not care for the saunders...it is way too overwhelming with a lot of info. The kaplan has been a good tool to study from. Wish me luck. Any last minute advice would be appreciated! :)
