Hi EverestRN...could you tell me how long you were on the waitlist until you got called and into the program? I have been doing my general education classes at RCC and I am fed up waiting around for classes. Will Everest accept transfer credits from a community college by any chance? This is so frustrating. Everest put me on a waiting list and they told me they will call once their is an opening.

Oh yeah......I go two days a week, Tuesday and Friday. I got parking tickets BOTH DAYS! i was not a happy camper. I was desperate on Tuesday, would have been late to class if I didnt park in a NO PARKING zone. On Friday, I thought okay, I'll go early and park at the Presperterian Church. I still got a ticket. Apparently, you have to pay them in advance. I have no idea what I'll do next Tuesday. They SAY it gets better after about three weeks. I hope so. Thanks for the info. I am worried about getting in. I have 80pts but I hear they have 300-400 apps for about 60 spaces. As I have no idea of what the other students have as far as points, it's hard to judge what my chances are. I am starting at RCC new this fall as well. I went to college in Oklahoma before this. It was much nicer to be honest.

How many total points did you have? I am applying for the Spring 2010 Nursing Program. I am getting very anxious hearing out about all these people trying to get in. Sounds like I may be waiting for a loooong time.

I am applying as well but I wondered about total points with the TEAS test. At my old school people got in with 125-135 pts. but I don't know what new students at RCC got in with.

I need advice too. I am currently in a nursing program and really want to get a job in med/surg. Any suggestions on how to get a job in this area directly out of school? I was a vet tech for years and participated in surgeries. I love it. Any wisdom would be appreciated!
