  1. I plan to apply to an accelerated BSN program but I have to take the pre-reqs first which I will start this upcoming spring.. However, I am not too good on math...Does the BSN program entail a lot of math? hard math? please let me know and any tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks:loveya:
  2. HI kristen, I am also looking into SUNY DOWNSTATE ...i also have a couple of questions for you...I have a child and I am also a bit concerned about commiting myself to an accelerated BSN but it seems like it is possible. Was is difficult to get into the program? Also you said you were in class at one point 2 x's a week which included clinicals and lecture? Also how is their NCLEX passing rate?
  3. I currently have a B.A degree but I am not sure if I should go to nursing school or enroll in an accelerated BSN program. I have a young child and I would like to be in a program that allows me to still spend time with her. Are there any schools in NJ that you may be able to suggest...I still have pre-reqs to complete...some people tell me to go to nursing schools others tell me its best i get a BSN. Also i heard that UMDNJ has a program for individuals who already have a BA in another field but that went to nursing school..MSN transition program which is good since i wont have to complete a BSN...What do you think?
