  1. Thank You Calstate1967,I just got the email from West Coast. This is good news to hear.Thank you for letting me know.
  2. I wish you the very best. You will do fine. You did not come this far to fail.Failure is not an option. You are going to pass.Thank you again for your honesty in everything.I truley appreciate it!
  3. Hi Rex3838, I am in term 3 right now going into term 4 in November.Thank You for the offer. If I get stuck,I will let you know. You are going to be fine.
  4. Thank you rex3838.That is all we can do since we are financially obligated at this point.Do you feel like they prepared you to think and function like an RN?
  5. I spoke with the orange county campus as well as the ontario campus and they stated that they will only have the bsn program and the last class will start in november. You must have the prerequisites out of the way.The fact that you do not have to have any experience and other current criteria still applies. You will have to contact them on monday to see if they will credit your lvn courses.
  6. Thank you a bunch!
  7. Thank you soo much for sharing this information.I started having anxiety issues since I have been enrolled in this program.I knew something was not right. My heart goes out to you and me both.I am stuck in this loan as well.It seems as if they only pass you in order to get the loan money and then once you get to term 5 they could care less because they have gotten most of the loan money from the bank. How are other classmate doing do they feel the same way. This is only a suggestion. You can find out which hospitals have the new grad programs or talk with the nursemanager or nursing education department and see if you can shadow or volunteer to go over the things you feel uncomfortable. It has been my experience that some institutions would love to take you up under their wing and accommodate you. What do you all do at clinicals?
  8. I finally got somebody to tell it like it really is.I had a strong feeling thats what they do to keep the numbers so high.Thank You so much for your honesty.
  9. I am so sorry calstate1967.I was trying to get information from msneducator.I was wondering why she posted those remarks about west coast.I assume she is a professor there?I am not sure. What do you think she meant?
  10. what do you mean by that statement. Please elaborate.
  11. Well, I was thinking of trying to get into mount st. mary college.I like the program so far.I spoke with someone over at the orange county campus and they said this will be there last lvn-rn program. They are only going to have the BSN program. So,I was also thinking of taking a medical leave but time is not on my side and they will have gotton all there monies pretty soon.I am torn between entering there bachelors program(pending ccne accreditation)What do you think about the program? So far everything is good. I have completed 3 levels and am in the 4th level now.
  12. Yes,I have started the program.I am not hearing very many success stories. In the back of my mind, I was thinking they were passing students just to get the money.I am just a little apprehensive.I just need to here from someone who honestly knows about the program and can assure me that it is not only about the money with westcoast.
  13. Hello there, I am currently thinking about dis-enrolling from WCU.Could you explain to me by what you mean they are not what you think they are?
  14. REX3838.I am sorry to here your frustration. You have to fill me in about this program.I am starting to get some vibes about this school.I need to get your honest opinion.Do you feel like you are transitioning to become an RN.
