Did you call NH to find jobs or were they posted somewhere? I am interested in working at a NH but don't know where to start and haven't seen any on any job boards around here. I am in Michigan.

How did your interview go? I have been looking into wound care as well but do not know where to start. I know a friend of a friend who is a NP in wound care and makes a killing! Any idea the pay?

I haven't received anything yet :-( The wait is getting quite ridiculous!

Hi Everyone. Update here...I just called UAB's SON and they stated that the committee was SUPPOSED to meet last week to pick the candidates for the Fall 2011 program and they did NOT meet. The lady stated they are meeting at the end of THIS week and that we should then hear in approx 2-3 weeks. I know, not what I wanted to hear either but at least it gives us an idea and we aren't checking the mail like crazy right now expecting something! Let's hope we all got in!

My application says the same! I hope that means that we are in!!

JustinTRN- there are 2 3-day visits that are required, everything else can be done in your own area.

I spoke with someone at UAB SON at it is still in state tuition for the program if you are doing it online! Hope this helps!

Calijaz- Thanks so much for writing me back! I would love to pick your brain about the class you are taking (so I am prepared for what I am getting myself into!) Would you be willing to email me or something? I would appreciate it so so so much!
