National kidney transplant institute
hey guys! sorry for the vary late reply. i just make your comments on hand. for the ivt, youll have to submit your ivt training cert from the hosp you'd trained for. for the hepa b, i think its 350 or 850php i cant remember (at nkti lab). the BST program means basic skills training. they provide it for us to learn skills about nursing in general. if you want to apply for the dialysis mgt prog (6months 25k), i think youll have to attend first the BST program. nkti is located at east ave, quezon city. -hosp belt (phil heart, east ave med cntr, lung center-adjacent) take mrt then drop by to kamuning station then ride a jeepney to qc hall, fairview then ask the driver to drop you at nkti

National kidney transplant institute
yup you're eligible. just pass the complete requirements. by the way, there is a chance of employment but it's just a luck. 90% of their staff nurses had undergo their basic skills training. just follow the rules and exert the best on all the challenges....... you have to pass the proof of immunity for hepa b. they are very strict on it bcoz of often cases of needle stick injury. they are taking good care of their personnels even the trainees..........

Makati Medical Center
The nursing training in NKTI is still ongoing. all you have to do is to pass the requirements - resume, tor, photocopied: recommendation letter from dean or employer, prc id, pna id, bls id, iv therapist id, 1 piece 1x1 and 2x2 pic. When you are qualified, you have to pay 1000 for initial payment. Once it is already done, come back to the required day to pass CXR results within 1-year period, proof of immunity for Hepatitis B within 6-month period and record of HPB vaccination. If you had already completed your vaccination, only the proof of immmunity will do. After you had finished it, you'll have to wait for your time to train. By the way, in terms of full payment, you can pay at least 2 weeks before the program. I had already applied few days ago last april 14, 2009. The slot available is the batch sept-dec2009. so hurry guys! if you're interested with their basic nursing skills training program, go to nkti asap!!! east ave, quezon city adjacent to lung center and beside quezon city hall. the training fee is 7000php that's all

The Medical City (Meralco Ave., Pasig City)
Hi. I did also that kind pf application procedure last 3rd week of January but unfortunately until now I haven't receive any contacts from the HR. While I'm typing my information in the computer, an HR personnel was talking to an applicant that has to have an interview. After their conversation, I notice that this applicant had passed his requirements in first week of January this year.

requirements for Capitol Medical Center
i passed my requirements at capitol medical center last december 2, 2008. after i give them my requirements, the personnel said that they will call me... well of course it depends on their institution's requirements. and foremost we don't know what exactly their necessities to choose for their future employees. as of now, i'm still waiting and hoping actually. the personnel will not articulate that if they're not open for hiring. by the way, their most important requirement, make sure that when you pass, you must be an IV therapist. if not, then your chances to be contact is only 0%.

Most Expensive Nursing School in the Philippines?
im a proud graduate of feu manila. it's a good school but of course it depends on the students how they can handle the name of the school. I'm happy that even we're so many... our batch has 2700+ graduates, and still we have a slightly high passing rate. 2007 has i think as i remember around 65%. and class 2008 has 79%. its getting higher and higher. i think as of these days, many students still don't like this course. maybe that's one of the reasons why we still can't get back the previous 100% passing rate decades ago. but still, I'm happy with the percentage and the performance of the graduates
