  1. We have major drama in our program!! I am one of the oldest in the class, so maybe I'm just being old and grumpy!! I just don't get some of the crap they get into it over. I'm one of the ones who keeps to myself, which kinda sucked in the beginning, but now I've got 2 or 3 that I talk to and even go out with every once in a while and that works just fine with me. The grade thing really is annoying too......But I have found that if you just listen to everyone for a little bit and listen for the highest grade, then when they ask tell them something just a little higher.....really ******them off!!! But very entertaining....LOL:p
  2. Thanks for the info!! Great talkin to ya......good luck in your next semester!
  3. We have looked at Tyler as well.....seems like an all around great kind of area! I have a brother in Sherman, but hubby and I are also hunters so have to look at all those aspects....lol. We're both kinda small town kinda people, so maybe the outskirts of some of the big cities were appealing. I have family in San Antonio as well, but not a huge urge to live there. You know anything about the pay aroung Tyler?? Seems like it all just depends on who you ask about what pay is in different places. Leah
  4. I understand the old and impatient thing all too well!!! But looks like your almost there!!! Are you from Tx?? If so what part? Thinking of relocating after school and Tx is an area we were looking at. Good Luck to you! Leah
  5. I was also very intimidated by Pharm!! But I found that if you just do your reading and absorb each chapter individually it works out!! I have some notes as well if you would like them, just pm me and I will give them to you. Good Luck Leah
  6. Such a boost to hear you all talk about graduation!! I have only just finished my first semester with 3 more to go, but it gives me momentum to go on to hear everyone talking about how excited they are about reaching the end!! If the next 3 semesters go as fast as this one did....it will be no time till I'm in the same boat as you guys! Good Luck and Congrats to all of you graduating this spring!! Leah
  7. You know your a CNA when..... -You run behind the nurse's station between residents at bedcheck to grab a quick bite of your dinner. -Your stories at dinner with friends revolve around what happened when resident X was fighting you to be changed......and you see no problem with talking about bodily fluids while eating!!! -You get excited as a CNA/Nursing student at the opportunity to see wounds of any kind or anything that is abnormal! -You come home from your shift sooooo excited about telling what happened during your day because you think it is just the greatest thing that no one had to have MOM or suppositories and your family looks at you like your insane!!!!!
  8. Thanks for all your input!! We're looking at several different areas and this is much easier to get info than trying to call around to different places. Thanks again!! Leah
