EEK! I successfully passed the psych and care of the adult exams, but just failed the pediatrics one (by 2 silly questions)... now I need to get my hands on the college network study guide AND show proof of purchase before they will let me retake it. I phoned the College Network and they charge $525 for one bloody book!

I'm in the process of completeling the 4 challenge exams that are required in order to start the BSN program... I successfully passed NURS 106 Mental Health Aspects of Nursing Practice and NURS 224 Nursing Care of Adults, however I failed NURS 328 Nursing Care of the Child and Family (by 2 questions nonetheless). Now I am being strong armed into purchasing the study module from College Network and they're charging $525 for one bloody study manual!!! Like I can afford that. They do not sell used editions and I have to show proof of purchase before ISU will let me sit for the exam again. Thank you! :bowingpur

Nursing is not what you do, it's what you are! It takes a special person to become a nurse - Ups, downs, and all arounds! Being able to help someone is truly the most amazing and rewarding feeling in the world! YOU did save his life, and it was innate - never devalue that! I hope you're able to overcome you life hiccups and get back into nursing... it's in your blood! You have more of a support system than you'll ever know!

Happy Monday my fellow NCLEX result waiting people! I just called the BVNPT and they're still working on August 18th test dates today... I guess it was a popular day to test! Keep the positive thoughts going! :wink2:

I too sat for the NCLEX-PN in CA... it's been over 4 weeks and still waiting. Per the BVNPT board, due to recent budget cuts they had to lay off 10 people - hence the serious delay for results. Right now it's a MINIMUM of a 6 week wait for results. Best of luck to you all! :chair:
