  1. It states that it is only required for LVN endorsement. Kindly check this site https://www.bon.texas.gov/licensure_endorsement.asp#paper I also applied for endorsement last August, and just now waiting for the permanent license.
  2. International Candidates - you will need the following: Each of these: all fees a completed criminal history report an original Credential Evaluation Service (CES) Full Education course-by-course report sent directly from an approved organization. The Board accepts the CES from any one of these: the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) www.cgfns.org the Educational Records Evaluation Service, Inc. (ERES)www.eres.com, or the the International Education Research Foundation, Inc. (IERF) www.ierf.org. Note: The CES must be dated within one year of issuanceby the certification organization and is required for LVN endorsement only.
  3. CES is applicable if you are an LPN not for RN.
  4. Yes, just pay the necessary fee. It is faster and more convenient for you.
  5. Just visit nursys.com and click the state that you want to licensed, you need to have a credit card to finish this process, and the fee is around $30.(kindly check nursys for the exact fee).. However, you can also use Verification form in case you do not have a credit card and send it to Vermont with the corresponding payment. Lasly, request for a finger print card for the Board of Nursing or US embassy, have it printed at NBI. Register to identogo which has a contact number located in the Fast pass form. After the registration, you can send the card with the fast pass form to Morpho trust USA You can check your application status on their site as soon as they receive your application.Afterwards, you can take the online examination once you completed the requirements or once your temporary license has been issued.I hope you find this helpful. Goodluck!
  6. Which particular aspect of the endorsement are you confused of? First of, if you live outside the USA, you need to download the endorsement application form, Verification form and Fast pass form on their site. You have to send the license endorsement application form with the check of $186 to Austin Texas. Secondly, go to PRC (because I assume that you are from the Philippines) and give them the Verification form. The PRC will send directly the verification to Texas, just pay the necessary fee and of course provide accurate information and mailing address. Regarding you license verification for Vermont, just visit nursys.com

It is useful, because we follow US standard.
  8. Hello, first of all do you live outside the US?If you are licensed to other state and wish to be licensed in Texas just go to this site https://www.bon.texas.gov/applications_endorsement.asp It includes steps for license endorsement. If you are in the US, you can apply for an online application, but if not then you need to print out the forms and mail it back to Texas Board of Nursing once completed. Hope this helps.

Hi, what I did before taking the NLE was to read additional books aside from the materials that were given by the review center,as it enhanced my self confidence in answering questions and gained more knowledge.Just think that it is your advantage to review additional books so that you can learn more. Taking an examination (most particularly board exam) takes tremendous amount of hard-work and perseverance. Review centers are very useful because they help you to improve your test taking strategies as well as they provide you essential information about the exam. However, relying on them may not be entirely effective. Study, read and believe in yourself. The only way to pass the test is to exert your best effort, aim to top not just to pass. Don't forget to pray and have time to relax. You can make it.:) I reviewed Saunders NCLEX-RN book, it helped me not only in NLE,but also NCLEX.
  10. My PD is Sept 2012 Justbeachynurse. Thanks silver dragon. I am currently working, however there is a 6 month gap between my previous and present job. I am just worried that it might hinder my job application in the US.Just like in Saudi Arabia in which most of the big hospitals do not accept applicants with over 6 months gap. I hope its different in the US. Thanks again for the reply. I appreciate it.
  11. Hi friends, I am just concerned because while waiting for my priority date, I already have a 6-month gap hospital experience. I just want to know if it will affect my US immigration application and obtaining a nursing job in the US? I am an ER nurse but with a 6 months gap of work experience. Hoping for a response. Thank you.
