yess, their policy is fail 3x and u are back at pharm. unfortunately Maternity/Peds got the best of me.. and i failed by 3 points.. its very discouraging thats why i am still debating on going back or not. our A&P teacher was Obuteh, im pretty sure he is still teachin a&p. trust me, the language barrier for me was very tough also but u will get used to it. he is also prob the BEST teacher u will have in that school. he seems hard (which he is) but he means well and he does everything in his power to help students. :)

hey there.. i went as far as psych.. didnt make it to MS1&MS2, i had to repeat maternity/peds.. and unfortunately did not pass by 2 points, now i neeed to start back at pharm.. which would be this coming december.. but i am still unsure to continue. im glad u are feeling good about the school.. just make sure u buy extra nclex books for the finals. a&p is easy.. pharm and on is tough. nclex books, cds r the key! i learned the hard way! good luck

hello all, i am currently going to Merit.. please, do not make the mistake in registering for this school. i am sure im not the only person who will say this to you but this school is MONEY HUNGRY. they do not have financial aid, they do not provide books or uniforms, they are NOT organized. they grading system is, 77% to pass all courses, i can prob name 1 or 2 teachers that are actually caring and want u to pass. to sum up your final grade it is 10%-hw, 20%class tests, 30%-midterm, 40%-final.. and trust me they kill you with the final.. as hard as you study.. does not seem to work out. they give finals OUTSIDE the school, from NLN.com or ATItesting.. not like other schools where the proefssors make their own midterms n finals.. they CLAIM to have a high passing rate. out of 35-40 in my class there are 13 still standing and they are only in med surg1, they still have med surg 2 to go. they are only the tuition is low for a reason ! u get wat u pay for and i learned the hard way. pls save your money and invest in a GOOD lpn school!!

i go to Merit. they ARE money hungry and they are also DISORGANIZED. please save yourself the grief and save your money!! they claim to be the cheapest LPN school in NJ. but you will end up paying much more, trust me. they do everything in their power to make it impossible to pass!! the class before me 7 on them made it thru the whole prog without failing ANY classes. 7 out of about 40ish students. please do not go to this school

anything BUT MERIT. this school is horrible, trust me. i went to this school...not worth it!!! is it prob the cheapest school in NJ ( that is why i went there) back then it was 12,000 for the whole thing. so seemed like a good catch. but little did i know.. !!! there is about 1 good teacher there, the rest are horrible, completely disorganized, attitudes left and right and they give ALL finals from NLN.com, ATI testing.com they make it almost impossible to pass. i do NOT recommend this school!!
