Thank you...the gen ed classes were a little rough in the sense there may be some disorganisation, but nothing you can't manage...but I will say hold on and once you get into 5th semester it feels like you're in an entirely different school...I love and hate it at the same time, and only hate it for selfish reasons like I can't hang out or sleep in anymore lol...this semester is very demanding, and we saw this as soon as we opened the first text, but we are excited and can't wait to start clinicals...good luck, and pay no attention to rumours :)

What cohort are you in? Lol it's only your second day, you may not want to pay too much attention to rumours, or just ask the dean directly...

I know this topic is old, but what was the outcome? Did you ever move? I'm considering moving back to Trinidad, but not sure of the nursing salaries...

Everyone however needs to understand that every nursing program starts off without the NLN/CCNE accreditation, and must go through the process of applying for one. If every student ran from the fear of going to a school that wasn't accredited, how else would these schools have a graduating class in order to apply?? Just a thought...

Well like you I have many pre-reqs completed so I started in the second semester. I only needed 3 classes this semester, and I believe 2 next semester. I have class Mon, Tues, and Fri 12p-3p, one class a day. So far so good. I'm taking pol sc., advanced college math, and soc. and development. Good luck on your decision, so far I have no complaints.

Thanks, I'm very excited...You're in nursing school now? I was actually gonna move to Trinidad about 2 years ago, and do my schooling there, but the credit transfer process was too blasted difficult, and oh gosh I was not about to start from scratch...

My orientation is Jan 5, and then first day of class is Jan 9, but I've been so busy preparing to move, that I haven't even realised how close it's getting...I'm driving to AZ from NY, so I will do my school shopping once I reach AZ...still excited though :)

@RM_Brookline, I'm so happy that you were able to get a roommate so quickly...I used to live in AZ, and actually was the one that convinced my mom to move down as well with my sisters...I'm the only one that moved back to NY (bad move), so now I'm coming back for good...Good luck to you as well...

Well the school has a Masters program...and before any school gets accredited, it has to have a full graduating class, every school goes through this...thanks anyway, I guess.

Hey, yep moving back, but with family...I'm actually a bit further out from the school, so I'm gonna have a drive ahead of me...have you decided which city you're gonna move to as yet, and when will you be moving???? I'm gonna drive out there, leaving NY Jan 1...good luck and keep in touch...
