  1. CHINBLK, My letter states that those who have been offered admission have until 6/30 to secure their places. Those that don't, those spots will be offered to Waitlisted candidates. So it says that I will be notified after 6/30 about admissions. I wish I knew exactly how much later that was. A week, a month...??? lol.
  2. So....I received a letter today through regular postal mail that I was put on the waitlist for the October cohort. In essence if enough people decide not to do the program, then I have a chance of getting in. Does anyone know exactly how many people are put on the waiting list? Or is there anyone that has been through the program or is in it now that was accepted after being put on the waiting list? I guess I'm just interested to know what my odds are, since essentially this isn't a firm denial either.
  3. I had my phone interview June 5th and still have not received any word. I keep checking my email like a crazy person...lol. :)
  4. Congratulations to those who have received notification!! How exciting!! I haven't heard anything yet. I do have two chem classes that I was going to take over the summer, and I'm hoping that isn't what has held me back. I didn't do them previously because I didn't want to take them without knowing for sure about the program because I'l already signed up for an ADN program for the fall. Still keeping my fingers crossed that I get in.
  5. Lauren...you've got mail (gmail).
  6. For all those who've applied for the October cohort, post an update when you hear from UWO by email. I know last years October cohort was notified by mid-June and I'm hoping that's the case this year as well.
  7. I had my phone interview last week. It wasn't exactly how I thought it was going to go, but I still think I did well. How many people do you suppose get phone interviews? Half of the applicants? I just can't imagine them spending 20 minutes on 120 people. Does anyone know?
  8. I have my phone interview the first week of June....I'm wondering if that's a good sign? Any heads up for the phone interview?
  9. Anyone out there from the October 2009 cohort candidates finished with phone interviews?
  10. For those of you who have been through the admissions process for the accelerated BSN.....does every candidate get an email interview? After the email interviews, does everyone get a phone interview? Or is the phone interview a pretty good indicator that you will be accepted? I'm just curious if there are any steps that are only for those candidates that they are in serious consideration of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
  11. I would be very interested in the NCLEX pass rates for WI programs as well? Did anyone successfully get ths information? Please PM me if so. Thanks!
  12. Has anyone out there applied for the October 2009 cohort?
  13. Can anyone share any information about the interview process for the accelerated program? I know there is an e-mail interview, is that basically like an essay format? And then do you only get a phone interview if you "pass" the e-mail interview portion? Also what about timelines does anyone know how soon you have one after the other? Any information you'd be willing to share would be great! Thank you.
  14. I took Lifespan/developmental psych through Milwaukee Area Tech College. It's available online it's course # is psych 238, try to take it with Dr. Schubot, he was good.
  15. I forgot to mention the one positive thing about attending Cardinal Stritch is that there are no waitlists or petition processes to get through to get into their nursing program.
