  1. Ok thanks, I live South Alabama and thought you were referring to the "Bay Area" here....
  2. very good advice here. I am tossing the idea of travel/local agency. I live in Alabama and do not really want to stay away from home 13 weeks. I thought maybe I would keep my fulltime job and work agency on weekends (may everyother weekend) My fulltime has become 2 8s and 2 12s with Friday, Saturday & Sundays off. Would agnecy work be worth it? That way I wouldn't have to work holidays and could call my own schedule? Please advise.
  3. When you say the Bay area, what do you mean. Can you recomend an agency?
  4. Well, have you started traveling yet?
  5. Any idea what travelers make in the Mobile area?
  6. I work in the Infirmary System and have not heard this either but will keep my eyes & ears open!
  7. I totally agree here. I have held higher positions with an ADN (College Degree!!!) than a lot of my friends who have BSN
  8. No where I have been has paid more than .50 (cents) on the hour more for a BS.
  9. Not in Mobile!! The responses you are getting here are pretty much it! We are the lowest paid nurses in the US
  10. Thanks for the help, 13 was not an option on answers so I would use the 12.5
  11. That sounds like good advice! I got another reply that wasn't very encouraging as far as what travel pays for and how much you would make.. That is what I like about this site...you get the truth!
  12. Wow, thank you for the input. I was expecting a little more positive feedback but if this is the way it is, I am not sure if I want to persue... Thanks
  13. Thanks for your input, I am thinking this is a trick question because there is no specific strategy for a formula to get this answer... Thanks again!
  14. This is a multiple choice question and 13 isn't an option, I think it is 50ml/hr & 12.5gtts/min Thanks for your help!
