Hi everyone! I hope you could all shed some light on my concern. You see, my old priority date was May 1 2007 but since I was abandoned by my previous employer, I was not able to leave my home country. Luckily, I found a new employer who processed recapturing of the old priority date. Yes, the new I140 was approved but to my dismay, USCIS gave me a new priority date which is June 27, 2014. They were not able to recapture my old PD. My attorney sent a request to NVC to send my case back to USCIS. I checked my USCIS case status and it showed: "The Department of state sent us your case for review. We are reviewing it and will notify you by mail when we are done." Now my question is, how long usually does USCIS process the correction of priority date? And would there be any chance that they will not approve the correction? I hope you can give me some advice on this as I am getting frustrated. I have waited too long for my old PD to be current but due to this unfortunate error, I was given a new PD. I don't want to wait again for another 8 years or more. Please help! Any information will be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you all especially from those who had been in the same boat as I am. Thank you very much.

Thanks so much for this! Or can I order a VisaScreen ICHP certificate verification letter from CGFNS in lieu of my CES? As stated on the CGFNS website, "this is for verifying to a designated recipient that a Visa Screen Certificate was issued and an official letter is sent within 10 work days." Will this suffice? thanks so much again. :)

Hi Guys! I hope you can also help me with my confusion with regards to passing my documents for the NCLEX exam. Im applying for Illinois BON and one of the requirement is the CES. I understand that if you are a Visa Screen and CGFNS holder, you can waive the CES report. I am a CGFNS passer and Visa Screen holder since 2006. Now my question is: Can I just pass a photocopy of my CGFNS and VISA Screen Certificates to the BON? Or do I really need to request original copies of the said certificates and then have them mailed? Pls help, I really need some light. Thanks so much guys!

How much experience do you need for them to approve your application? I only have 9 months hospital experience and right now am currently working as a clinical instructor. I have been teaching for like 1 year and a half already. Do you think my teaching experience will qualify me? I am from Iloilo City and thinking about going to Manila to authenticate my papers would really be difficult for me. hi guys, am new here... i have been reading this thread for like 2 days now since I am planning to also try my luck as a nurse in New Zealand..I was contacted by a consultancy firm if am interested to work in NZ and they said they will help me with the application. But the downside is, they are already asking for money. Do i still have to go through this consultancy firm just to reach NZ? I have read in the back posts that i could do the legwork myself but the problem is I really don't know where to start... I really would wanna start with the application process really soon since my IELTS will be expiring this October 2008... can anyone give me the details of what I'll be doing? I feel so at lost now....I would really appreciate some help....Thank you thank you thank you everybody! =)
