  1. The location is probably in the Philippines. I agree with JBoston to call the hospital and ask. Or check the hospital's website. If this is in the Philippines, I understand why you post here first as hiring process is much different there. I know some people(some relatives) who work at St. Lukes and pretty much I am aware of how to get a job there based on some stories told by them.
  2. I am(LPN) in California but planning to move in Michigan for the reason of not finding a job here. I have relatives there and invited me to try.
  3. The ER doc did not try to figure out what's causing the low Hgb and hyponatremia, possible infection and sent him home. What kind of hyponatremia is it by the way(hypervolimic)?
  4. Don't feel so sad even if it's true because nurses care remember? Some doctors especially older doctors are pretty cool. Those doctors who looked down on nurses are probably the only one finished college in their family or all their family members are doctors.
  5. Or she was just too scared and panicked that she would be implicated in MJ's death. Maybe wanted to clear her involvement? But it looks like she made it worst considering HIPAA. Anyway, what are the protocols if she was indeed a client of Cherilyn Lee? The NP(Lee) should have followed-up on MJ too right after giving him prescription or on a regular basis? I think she did based on her interview that she tried to call MJ but was not answering. Did she ever document or made a record of interaction between her and MJ? Looks like she did not document it based on her interview. Sorry for so many questions, I'm a newbie and just curios.
  6. When I first started working as LVN, my co-worker always used the word "orientated". It's the first time I've heard of that word and I thought the word existed. I knew that she was using the wrong word but since she speaks fluent English than me, I thought that there was "orientated" in the dictionary. Funny part is I actually used the word because she kept on using it even if I used the word "oriented" when I talked to her regarding some residents' orientation. FYI: We're both non-native English speakers but I am very picky and this is one reason I don't speak that much.
  7. Hello, Could someone help list the steps and things that needs to be done when admitting clients. I am a new graduate and I am not confident doing this thing because I think there are many things that need to be done. thank you.
