  1. Thanks! Maybe I'll just try my luck. If not given the chance to sit for the exam...it's just then that i decide what to do. Anyway, whatever the results, I'll keep you posted.
  2. Hi! I am a medical graduate here in our country but I had a premed degree in nursing. I'm planning to work as a nurse in the US and now is going to apply for NCLEX. Do I still have to take the local board in nursing here coz some of my collegues in medicine who changed their career as a nurse in the US told me that I don't have to take the local exam but rather just pass a letter to the Ca BON explaining that I am a doctor here and planning to practice as a nurse there. Is this true? Or do I really need to take up the local boards for me to be given the permit to take the NCLEX exam? thanks.
  3. Hi Suzanne! Recently acquired my nursing degree and I'm planning to take my NCLEX in the US but only have tourist visa. I'm also planning to do my fingerprint scan there since according to Cal BON it is much faster if done via live scan. Can I finish everything from NCLEX Application to Examination during my stay there? I have all my requirements here already but the school transcript have just recently being sent there. Can I incorporate all that during my stay there? Do you have any suggestions on a quicker way? thanks.
  4. Hi! I just recently finished my nursing degree. I don't have any plans of practicing nursing in my country. Can I apply for an nclex even if i didn't the local boards in my country? I'm planning to practice in California since my sister is already there. Any inputs or suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks.
