  1. Have you tried calling them (the board of nursing) and asking? I know it's easy for me to say, but try not to think the worst. I don't understand why yours would be different, a pass is a pass, not really any gray areas.
  2. Is this your first time being licensed? I know in NC there is a sort of "probation" for the first year and after if you have had no issues, you re-new for the 2 years period with full compact state privileges.
  3. PN stands for "Practical Nursing". I am not sure why yours would say this unless it was a type-o maybe?
  4. I had a partial hysterectomy about 8 years ago when I was 30. I had mine done laproscopically. Along with the hysto I had my bladder tacked (I too had a prolasped bladder and uterus). Super fast recovery. I actually was back to work in 3 weeks, probably should have waited the other 3, but now more sick time and I needed the money. I have had NO regrets. It is sooooooooooo nice not worrying about starting your period on vacation!
  5. suctioning a trach...well basically anything to do with mucus and vomit.
  6. I work in Duplin County, NC and I do the CSC (child service coordination) portion of what you are talking about. We have the baby love programand have applied for the healthy beginnigs grant. I love my job and will not go back to the hospital (unless I have to)
  7. I graduated from Excelsior college whicch has an on-line RN-BSN program. I like it and passed my boards on 1st try
  8. I am a graduate from excelsior and passed my boards on the first try with on the minimal queations. I loved the program. Had no problem getting a job either. you are welsome to email me personally an dI will help you any way I can...
