  1. Please, Please, Please help! I am an ER nurse. I have been for 10 years. I am now also a Paramedic. I have been for over a year. I really, really want to fly! How do I break into this area? I have worked abroad/overseas I am used to foreign travel. Can I get into repatriation? How do I start? I am not afraid of hard work, but I am afraid that I am going in circles. Anyone got any suggestions?
  2. It' s away from kids, but I think it's a similar theme. Take the older gentleman who comes in with urinary retention. Female nurses are certainly capable of inserting that foley, but do they understand the stress and pain caused by retention. I have helped many gents feel better, with a simple procedure
  3. I'm a nurse, soon to be paramedic. My nursing degree took me around the world. I am hoping that having both will get me flying. I think being both is great, the 2 compliment each other and have different mind sets to bring to any situation.
  4. I am perhaps the opposite end of the spectrum. I feel that I am too young, well inexperienced to be a valuable member of a flight team. I have only been a nurse for 8 years and am only taking my paramedic class....... could I be a good flight nurse?
