  3. I started this thread last year and I'm glad to say I started a job this month! Neuroscience floor at an acute care hospital in the Bay Area! Took forever, but don't give up!
  4. I just got accepted to the Fall 2014 T2P can anyone tell me how they liked the experience and if they thought it was worth it etc? How many people got offers, how the didactic and preceptorship parts were? ANything would be appreciated!!! TIA!
  5. Cheer up! At least you're not in California! I've applied to over 200 in six months!
  6. Hello! I have an interview on Monday with NFP. I was wondering if any of you could give insight to the interview/training process or could give me a 'day in the life' scenario? I am super excited about the position as it combines my love for maternal child nursing and public health. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
  7. I interview on Monday. Can anyone tell me what their interview experience was like? TIA!
  8. Can anyone give some insight into the interview and program? I am curious how the program is and also curious about the interview process. TIA
  9. I still haven't gotten a rejection letter, but I still haven't gotten a call either....
  10. Guys don't forget to add what state/city you are in too!
  11. I applied. My status changed to 'forwarded to manager' but no calls yet....
  12. Just got it. Didn't help at all!
  13. Yeah, if they're easy I wouldn't mind, I would just hate to not know a drug or something... I probably ramble too! lol Wish this email would come already!
  14. Violetsmom, I found this description of a group interview for Kaiser online. I am hoping it's behavioral questions and not clinical.... I'll be brushing up on some stuff in the next two days though.... Hopefully the email we get today will clear some things up! We were told to spend five minutes gathering info about the person to our right, and vice verse. At the end of the time, we had to introduce the candidate to the panel. After all the introductions, a round basket was placed on the table containing strips of paper. Each strip was a numbered interview question. We were told to pick a question, read it aloud, and answer to the best of our ability. The basket was passed around the table twice. The Hr Manager would further expand on the question with certain individuals
  15. Yeah I've heard they're pretty intimidating. This is my first hospital interview and I've applied to probably almost 150. I live about a little over an hour from Santa Rosa. I think it's all day if you keep making it through... Which I hope I do! I'm also hoping on call is just like per diem. But who knows. I think we will all be in one room together doing various interview 'activities'. I wish I knew how to prepare better for this.
  16. Yes it is! Have you gotten the info email about it yet? They called Saturday to invite me to interview and said they'd send an email, but I haven't gotten one yet.... So so nervous!
  17. Hey guys, I know this thread is old, but I got invited for a group interview that's all day at kaiser next week. Could someone tell me their experience with this? I am super nervous and don't know what to expect!! TIA.
  18. Is it safe to assume that if you haven't gotten a call by now you aren't getting one? My status changed to - Intv but alas no call for an interview.....
  19. aloix14 I really hope I don't have to relocate because my husband's job and his family are here in CA. I've been playing with the idea of CO, MO, and SC because I have family in those states. Here's hoping I find something soon! How did your whole experience go? Did you endorse to TX before you applied or after?
  20. Yeah, it's so saturated here.... They needs nurses, but not every hospital is training new grads. They only want nurses with experience, but no one will give it to us!
