Samuel Merritt's Transition to Professional Nursing Practice (T2P) - Summer 2013
Is anyone really paying the tuition by the 17th? On the website, it says it's due July. The email says otherwise though.

Congrats on your interview!! Good luck!- UCSD New Grad Program Summer 2013
It is exciting! I applied to Perinatal NICU.- UCSD New Grad Program Summer 2013
I applied a couple of days ago. Today I received an email with several questions that I need to complete and send back. Anybody else get this?- Samuel Merritt's Transition to Professional Nursing Practice (T2P) - Summer 2013
I graduated Dec 2012, too. I didn't list specifics on where I applied besides that I applied to many every single week with no positions offered yet. I think the last day to know if you made it is May 31st, so fingers crossed for you! Also, congrats c2011!!- Samuel Merritt's Transition to Professional Nursing Practice (T2P) - Summer 2013
I received the email too! Congrats to you guys and good luck to everyone!- Maxim Healthcare Services Agency
Thanks for all the input. I applied to another position months ago, and they only called me back recently because there was a new grad opportunity in my area. Bingu64, hopefully the maxim in your area starts a new grad opportunity sometime. Otherwise hang in there and keep searching! Good luck!- Maxim Healthcare Services Agency
I'm a new grad currently waiting to hear from one of my dream jobs at a hospital (like almost everyone else on here). I'm thinking about doing work out of the hospital while I wait. Anyone have information on Maxim healthcare services? I believe it's an agency. Some people in various threads have said it's great, while others have said to avoid it! They haven't stated any particular reasons to back up their point. Any insight is much appreciated to a naive new grad being reached out by Maxim!- Dignity Health new grad versant program
Has anyone heard back yet?- Samuel Merritt's Transition to Professional Nursing Practice (T2P) - Summer 2013
I just applied to Samuel Merritt's T2P program with CPMC. For those not familiar with this program, here is the link: http://www.samuelmerritt.edu/t2p I wanted to start a thread since the few threads on the T2P program are outdated. Are there people on the same boat as me who applied this time around and are waiting to see if they made the cut? Does anyone know if the process involves interviews or if the decision is made solely on the application? Also, I'm curious as to how beneficial it actually is to pay for this preceptorship that doesn't guarantee employment. I've read somewhere that programs like this aren't considered valuable experience since it is not paid. I prefer to stay hopeful! Anyone complete the program? Please share your experience with landing a job after with CPMC or elsewhere. Does anyone know how often CPMC hires new grads through T2P and how many people are generally accepted into the program vs. how many applied? Maybe we can share the timeline of the acceptance/rejection process with one another on here. The search for employment and/or valuable experience after graduating is stressful, and any information is much appreciated! - Samuel Merritt's Transition to Professional Nursing Practice (T2P) - Summer 2013
