  1. Normally Gainesville, but I'm back home in Orlando for spring break.
  2. My letter just came 5 minutes ago!!! I got in!!! I thought I was gonna have to wait until Monday to get it, but I just checked the mail and there it was :) GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! Hope you all find out today as well!
  3. CONGRATS!!!! That's SO awesome that you got in LJR!! I'm sure we'll all be getting our letters in the next few days, but this wait is killer!! Good luck everyone, keeping my fingers crossed for ALL of us.
  4. Ahhhh so excited and SOOO nervous. I've been reading these for awhile and figure I might as well join! I'm a senior at UF right now, hoping to be there next year as well! Good luck everyone :)
  5. Just found this thread!! I'm currently a senior at UF and am hoping to stay in Gainesville for nursing school as well. I finished my prereqs and am just now starting to freak out about the GRE!! Eeek. I know that 1000 is the requirement but I'm kinda wondering what the average score is for people who get accepted...
  6. I just stumbled across this thread and had a few questions. I'm applying to the ABSN program next year and have already met with Ken regarding admissions, etc. I was more curious about your experience in the program though. I've heard students in the regular BSN program talking about how tough it can be, so I can only assume that the accelerated program is even more overwhelming. Also, with less time in nursing school did you feel adequately prepared upon graduating or did it feel like everything was just rushed through? Basically I'm just wanting to know your overall opinion/experiences with the accelerated program and also where you ended up career-wise after graduating. Thanks!!
  7. hey thanks so much!! it's so nice to hear that you love it!! i've heard from other people that accelerated programs are a nightmare, and the worst year and a half of your life...NOTTT so encouraging :) I talked to one girl who said that its a year of all nighters and weekends in the library with barely enough time to finish all your work. I know you just started but how has it been for you so far?? Do you feel completely overwhelmed by everything?? I was really excited until people started freaking me out!! Now I'm kinda nervous...
  8. hey i saw that you just started the UF accelerated program and was curious as to what the tuition is?? I'm a junior right now but plan on applying as soon as I graduate. I've heard these programs can get pretty pricey, and I was just wondering how much UF costs? thanks
