Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
I have been following this tread for a couple days....I took my boards (NCLEX-RN) Wed.(6/18) in Indiana...when I got home two hours later I tried the Pearsonvue trick and I received the pop-up box...which eased my anxiety some (I think I wore out my refresh button)...and today at 1 pm central time...My name popped up on Indiana.gov as a ...DRUM ROLL PLEASE......REGISTERED NURSE...ACTIVE!!!!!!! Who ever figured this out THANK YOU!!!:bowingpur:bowingpur:bowingpur If the trick wasn't there I would be bald from pulling my hair out waiting. I had 200 questions and seriously thought I failed!!! Thanks again..keep this post going for all those waiting to take the boards. Best of luck to all.:redbeathe:nurse::redbeathe:nurse::redbeathe:nurse:

Pharmacology Drug Cards
I am due to graduate this May and our Synthesis prof. is extremly drug happy....the BEST advice on what to include is to read your pharm book then compare it to either a Med/Surg book or your drug reference book and the ones mentioned in both books is the ones you need to know. Hope this helps..it works for me everytime.

A problem with CNAs
I understand that CNA's can be frustrating to you as a RN...however, do you look at their workload compared to yours? In my hospital the CNA/pt ratio is at least 10 to 1. What is yours? 4-5:1? CNA's are greatly underpaid and unrespected. If the aid goes through at 11 to start vitals and the pt isn't in the room...then the pt isn't in the room. By the time she/he is done it is probaly time to pass lunch trays or a pt needs help to the restroom, or labs needs to be ran down......A suggestion is if the CNA is busy...pay attention they usually are....take the vitals your self!!!! It is utlimatley YOUR RESPONISIBLITY anyway!!!! I am a CNA/nursing student and it infuriates me when the nurses ***** and complain that the aids are lazy while they are drinking thier coffee!!!

HESI Exam in MAY
We have to take hesi exams at the end of each semester...the best advice for you is to buy the evolve NCLEX-RN review book. If you are unable to purchase it..google nclex 3500...a free link will pop up for you...practice NCLEX questions....there is not a specific thing you can study, it is a comprhenisive test, you either know it or you don't. Good Luck:up:
