  1. Hello everyone who might be going into the field of psychiatry or who work in psych nursing. I am currently pursuing my BSN and work in a county program for the mentally ill. I want to pursue my Master's in psychology as a nurse practitioner however, don't know anyone who can give me any advice in this field and how lucrative it might be. The mind fascinates me and so does my job however, I live in a very small county and throughout our county, there is not a single Nurse Practitioner who practices psychiatry. Would really appreciate any feedback from anyone out there.
  2. Dear December 2905, i am so glad you passed. is there any way you can tell me how to retrieve the thread on infection control? Noticed that this is hard for me. really appreciate it.:)
  3. I need some information on Suzannes plan? Never heard of it what is it? I am on my fifth attempt for the RN boards and I am willing to get all the help possible. please let me know.
  4. Hey? Been there done that. I live in a very small town where everyone knows you and believe me, I know exacltly how you feel. I am going into it for the fifth time and you know what? I don't care what anyone thinks! I just have to do it. At times, I do not know what to think anymore, however, I know I am studying really hard this time. Best of luck, you will be fine.
  5. hi everyone: i am new to allnurses.com and appreciate any comments, help and advice. i am an lvn who has taken the rn boards four times now and taking them again this august. i am really afraid of not passing. i have taken the kaplan review and the lifesaver's review. i work full-time and i am a married mother of one child. i have also been waiting too long in between taking the rn exam. any hints, studying techniques or literature? i am trying not to sabotage myself and take the bull by the horns this time however, i still get very nervous about not passing them again. part of me is the fact that i'm afraid to fail again and the other part is that i'm not quite sure what to go over now. i appreciate any feedback and thank you for reading my story.
