  1. I actually think they teach the same way and the tests are the same. If you know the material, and have the open notes it makes a huge help. I made an A in the class. There were only 15 students in the class and only 2 made A's. I am sure an A would be breeze for you since you study now. Good luck!
  2. korena001-Hey! I live in Pell City/Cropwell area! I had Dr. Young for A&P1. He wasn't a great teacher at all. He basically read straight from the workbook points each class. He did allow us to use our notes/books for the exam. That being said I still had to study like it wasn't open book. The people that came prepared for it to be open book would still fail the exam. I think for me it was just so much information crammed into an exam and the test questions were not great. Several times the questions were on material we didn't discuss. I would usually spot it and call him out on an exam. He was super nice about it and would omit the test question. He also is great about helping you if you don't understand something. Good luck to you.
  3. Glad that you reached a decision! Good luck!
  4. Pell city is also a nice place to live. You are close to Bham or Anniston and you are near the lake!
  5. Magnolia~ What campus are you taking the class at? Are you taking it at night? Sometimes the night classes can be the worst. So much material is being crammed in. I am hoping it gets better for you! ((HUGS))
  6. If I am not mistaken, the point cut-off was 183 last time. I don't think you will have trouble getting in!
  7. Thanks so much for responding. I have heard that you are tested on all 3. I just wanted to be sure. Thanks again!
  8. If you have passed all Math and English classes, do you just have to take the Compass Reading?
  9. Thank you so much for responding. You have cleared up everything for me. I actually checked out the probation stuff and found out it wasn't true. Thanks again.
  10. They are on probation? I didn't realize this. What happens if they lose their accreditation while you are attending?
  11. What was the schedule like the 2 semesters you went? Like how often did they do clinicals? Sorry that I am attacking you with questions. I just want to know all that I can.
  12. Thanks for the info. So, does anything transfer or do you just have to forfeit the nursing classes you took?
  13. I have read several post on here about how disorganized it is and that you have to teach yourself. Has the program got any better? Also, what does your schedule look like? I have all of my prereq's done so all I lack is the nursing classes. How do they schedule the clinicals? I am having a tough time deciding what is the best option for me. I currently have a great job that I can study at. I have WONDERFUL benefits that I just don't want to lose. That being said, If I have to I will. I just don't want to enroll in a program and then it end up being HORRIBLE. Any input is appreciated?
