Has anyone had a difficult time finding a job after being unsuccessful on NCLEX and passing after the third time?

I am pleased to say that I have passed NCLEX-RN (3rd time) with God, faith, prayers and Suzanne's Plan. (Three for completion) I found out Sunday using quick results. I've been checking the BON and I still don't see my license number. How long does it usually take? I'm ready to start applying and working! Blessings and Peace:nurse:

I am Lifting up to our Heavenly Father those who have been affected by this years hurricanes and hanna and ike which are currently active storms. The storms are brooding. There will be more, so we have to stay prayed up! The affectual, fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much. James 5:16.

This is true nursing is a totally different field from Medicine, I began college wanting to be a doctor, butonce I began my classes and learned more about doctors, I decided it wasn't for me. I wanted to care for the patient not the disease or conditions. Just information on the difference.

Saunders and ncsbn! Kaplan strategies book too!

I like saunders for the questions and the rationale. They let you know the level of the questions as well as the client needs category which is very helpful. I also have a book on priority which helps out with those questions which can be difficult. The questions are quite comparable to NCLEX. I had to learn the strategies and how to answer the questions so I like the Kaplan strategies book.

To those who have taken it and passed with 75 what were your study methods/ tools? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanx much P.S. to those who are nervous and all others studying to take/retake NCLEX soon, God Bless!

pescia999, I am also in a predicament very similar to you. Graduating a while ago, with a very supportive husband whom I am so thankful for. Thank you for sharing your experiences, it is encouraging for others going through the same battles with NCLEX. We will conquer this test!
