Attention ,SEC assessment 2010 Vancouver
Oh, the rest of the world never assumed that Canada, etc will absorb foreign nursing graduates. You must be imagining things and I understand how you feel.

Nova Scotia Nursing Registration
I think it means the temporary license is invalid 2 weeks after the CRNE result is receive, whether one passed and will be eligible for registration or failed. I'm not sure though but I was able to read CRNNS website sometime.

Nova Scotia Nursing Registration
What's strange with the comment? People here should realize that what works with one does not work with the other. There are different strokes in different folks. Stop ambushing them with your "strange Comment".

November 2009 Visa Bulletin
It is apparent that American nurses does'nt want IENs to work in the US for the reason that it is there job to nurse America and they will have all the nursing jobs available for them. Well, there's nothing to argue about. It's a good thing that it is clear now than reading "posts of concerns" from others giving reasons why they discouraged IENs in America. I believe that there is no permanent thing in this world and in America (like it is forever). Everything will change because CHANGE is the only permanent thing. It's a good feeling to celebrate, but not in a way of "adding insult to injuries". With or without American opportunities, life still goes on for foreign nurses.

NVC -CP- GC Tracker
Though I will be very happy if there will be visa movements this new fiscal year, but basing on AOS filed during July-August 2007,wherein almost 800,000 cases were filed, the 140,000 visas available this year will easily be consumed. So my guess-STILL NO MOVEMENTS.

Interesting article about "diploma mills"
Well, you might be very happy, fulfilled and satisfied with what you just did to this guy. Those who give kudos feel the same way as well. Anyway, nobody can really see who you REALLY are because this is just a forum. Maybe one of you is of 59 years old, a princess during the day but an OGRE at night.:yeah::bow:

Pondering on Foreign Nurses
It's pretty obvious there is anger towards IENs from posts here. No matter how you hide it or how nicely you explain it but it's always there, even in your last post. There's no need to do it. Not all IENs who visit this site wants to work in the US anyway.

Demand for Nurses Abroad
I do have great respect to the people in this forum. If you would just read from the very top of this thread, it's not me who's missing a point. I can sense you're making a point, thank you for your concern.

Demand for Nurses Abroad
Everybody pays taxes yet not everybody speaks like what she does!

Demand for Nurses Abroad
If the Canadian Health authority is willing to pay the remedial education for nurses, then why not? It's not your money! They choose this because they have there reasons!!! You might be speaking for the truth (the hell I Exactly Know!!!)???? I dont even know where you come from!!! All I know is that your very offensive with your post that speaking as what you say was "truth" defeats its purpose!!!

Demand for Nurses Abroad
you might be a very good nurse or whatever you are in your profession but if you have no good things to say in a forum like this, better say nothing or just post what is relevant to the topic of the thread. I am a nurse and a Filipino, if by chance we meet, I will be very glad to work with you and see how good you are. Where ever you come from, I'm pretty sure there are many Filipino nurses that are much better than you, and for sure there are also many who are at par or at sub par of how good you are.

nurses who didn't take local boards, but were able to take NCLEX
To the thread starter: I graduated from BSN last March 2007. I was very curious how it is to take NCLEX (as a Nurse Licensure exam for the US) so upon graduation, I applied straight for US licensure ( NCLEX-RN California ) even without applying for Philippine Licensure exam.I just sent a letter together with my application stating that I am scheduled to take the NLE by December 2007 as the NLE is scheduled June and December only. CA BRN approved my application,so I was one of the pioneers who took NCLEX in Manila. I focused my studies for NCLEX and upon passing it,it was not hard passing NLE as well. MS,OB,Pedia,Psych are SOP's where ever you apply it. I just focused on CHN,LMR and others for the NLE. Many also do the vise-versa, NLE first, then NCLEX. So you see, there's no waste of effort! Just my little advise for those who follow this thread.

Florida Board Punishing Foreign Nurses!!
Posts like this is makes me feel bad! Offensive comments like this are not healthy. You may be a very good nurse from avery good nursing school and country but you should consider other people, for sure others are better than you and there are also many at par or sub par of your abilities. There's no sense on making comments like this. Now what can you say about the thread starter's resume???

Dont know where to start...need advise for Canada
I will do that silverdragon. Thank you very much. Once a hospital in Canada will consider my application, will they send me that job offer (as it is indicated in CIC to have one to apply for TWP ) together with the LMO or that LMO will also serve as the job offer?
-
Dont know where to start...need advise for Canada
This surely helps a lot silverdragon.By the way, What's LMO? Can I start my application to the hospitals in the province where I want to live even though I'm not yet eligible for CRNE and Temporary Registration? Or I should start applying to hospitals after I'm already eligible to sit CRNE and already have temporary registration? Thanks and best regards to you.

Dont know where to start...need advise for Canada
silverdragon, I already read from the Citizenship Immigration Canada about Temp Work Permit. It says there on the "how to apply" section that I should have a written job offer from an employer in Canada as part of the process. How can I find for an employer? Or can I find an employer to give me a job offer granting that the Nursing Boards will give me eligibilty to take the CRNE and approve my temporary registration while I'm still here in the Philippines? Thank you.
-
Dont know where to start...need advise for Canada
I'm not the one who posted the nursing asst and LPN roles upon failing the CRNE. But as the thread starter, I just gave you my assurance that we will do our very best to pass the CRNE.
-
Dont know where to start...need advise for Canada
You dont have to worry about that suznne, We know ourselves best and we will try to pass the CRNE right away. I would also like to inform you that I garduated Cum Laude, My NLE rating is very satisfactory,I already passed the NCLEX-RN CA (not really wanting to work in the U.S. but just wanted to gauge my knowledge since NCLEX is offered here in the Philippines). I also passed IELTS with a band score of 8.

Dont know where to start...need advise for Canada

Dont know where to start...need advise for Canada
I understand that CRNE will be held only in Canada. From here (Philippines) going to Canada to sit for the exam, under what visa I'll be using? Sorry for my ignorance...
