I'm scheduled to take the test on April 8th. I'm studying the Saunders comprehensive review for the Nclex PN book. Does anyone know if the Saunders book will still be helpful when testing after April 1st. Or should I use the Davis book that states to have the new format for the new Nclex test? I am so confused and scared to death of this test. I did great throughout the year, but to know that a computer determines your future is just the scariest thing. Can someone please provide me some insight as to which book I should focus on studying on? Or if I should be studying both? Thank you.

Ok my fellow nurses. i have been reading all of your posting regarding PVT and your NCLEX results. What exactly is PVT? I am graduating next friday and i am applying immediately to take my test. Can someone explain to me what exactly i I have to do to get my results right after I take my exam. Please walk me through. Thank you. .

Hi, dont't worry youe not alone. I also work full time and will be going to school at night too. Plus I'm married with have 4 young children (ages 14, twins that are 8, and a 4 yr. old)and I care for my elderly mom.So pretty much my palte is extremely full. It won't be easy but it is a goal I have set for myself, something I always wanted and it must be DONE!!!!! Best of luck!!!!!!:anpom:

I'm totally excted! I was just found out I was accepted to the LPN Evening program at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Miami. I had applied since last October for the January class. It has been an emotonal rollercoaster but it was ALL WORTH IT! I'm so thrilled and excited that cannot even sleep or stay still:dncgbby: I'm dyng to start already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :anbd:

As long as you don't flunk out of any sciences course you are fine. Make sure your GPA stays high. and Yes, though they are more expensive, private university are alot easier to get into.

I don't have that on my degree audit at all. I just applied for the both the LPN prgram and the part-time RN program for which the deadline is tomorrow. So, I will not know until June or July if I was accepted or not.

Ddoes anyone know how mercy hospital in Miami Florida determines the score for the LPN entrance Exam. I receive the results form NLN however it is very confusing. I have a composite score and a composite percentile score. I took the LPN entrance exam and I am wandering if anyone understood the test scores I have to test scores the first one is Composite scoree and the other one is a Composite percentile score. Which on edoes the school consider to determine you admission to the LPN program. If anyone knows please advise me as soon as possible. Thanks.
