I am currently a student here. The admissions process for the ADN program is new this year- and it is a competitive process. There are pre-requisites which include "intro to microcomputers", english, math, anatomy & physiology I and II, as well as a Compass placement test, and the NLN Pre-RN Entrance Exam. The GPA from these classes and the scores from the placement and entrance exams will give you a "ranking" for entrance into the program. Those with the highest ranking will be admitted into the program first. My advisor said there are usually about 200 applicants with about 80 openings (keep in mind this information is all from the Columbus campus). As far as the curriculum and the clinicals, I will have to wait to see if I get in to let you know! I had transfer credits for most of my gen ed classes, and I took Intro to Microcomputers online, and A&P in a hybrid class where we only met once a week and all other coursework was online. I think very highly of this school- and I have attended several collages being an Army wife! It sounds as though you have been on the website, but perhaps you should dig a little deeper on there as they have a plethura of information all packed on there. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't University of Phoenix offer this program? I could have sworn I saw it as an online option...
